Epilogue Well done, indeed. Zeromus is destroyed, and peace can once again return to the world, underworld, and moon of Final Fantasy IV. I mean, sure there are probably still probably aggressive mythical beasts in every corner of the world, just waiting to randomly encounter any unsuspecting person who takes so much as a single step out of a town or castle, but that's completely beside the point. What's important now is that the people of Final Fantasy IV, NPCs and heroes alike, can now finally go on with their lives, and pursue their own personal goals and desires without worrying about giant destructive robots and crazy moonmen compromising them. In fact, the first example of this is about to happen! The ending of Final Fantasy IV is surprisingly similar to that of a dating simulation hentai game ending, where two of the main characters, usually relatives of the same gender, finally end up sleeping with each other. Unfortunately full motion video was not available at the time. Have fun, you two. And now, let's take a look at what the rest of our heroes are up to after ridding Zeromus from the world. I'd be bummed too if I had to do homework issued by a guy who admittedly knows absolutely nothing, and is otherwise known for saying things such as "Ahuh!" Uh, oh! Watch out Chamberlain! (What I wouldn't do for a baby bushhag plush toy.) Well, except absolutely everything. No, seriously. You're not right at all. My favorite part of Final Fantasy IV, hands down. Hahahaha, yeah. Keep telling yourself that, king. As useless as ever, some things never change. If everyone dealt with responsibility this way, the world would be a better place. It doesn't surprise me that Kain is off moping by himself, since he's basically the only guy in the group who didn't become a king, or pick up a gay lover. Um. Couldn't have said it better myself. Holy exclaimed ellipsis, Cecil! What could it be? I know, this is where you give your final speech about all the things you've learned during the course of the game, right? You're going to tell us that where there is hatred, love will one day come through and safe us all, and that you've learned the most important thing is to follow your heart and do what you feel is right. You're going to give us all a reason to remember you as the best, and most insightful protagonist a Final Fantasy game has ever been graced with, right? Eh, well. I guess there's still time to look into the camera and say Good-bye... Ooh, zing! Well done, Cecil. You did it, buddy. THE END! Wow. After I read the Epilogue, I just had to read the entire series from start to finish again. Necro, this is quite possibly the single greatest thing ever. I'm usually not one for smilies, but I feel these are relevant here.
