Classic Mode, huh? I like what they're doing with it. Instead of having a set stage and character like in 64, it's themed towards a specific series.

So are each of the stages going to be random with whether it's a Giant, Team, Allied, or Regular Battle? I don't think they'd make battles from the Kirby series always Giant Battles.
Also, are they going to combine the Ice Climbers, Kid Icarus, and other retro series for Classic Mode?

I'm not sure I've known anyone who played Melee with items since 9th grade. :p And the less active stages were usually the best to fight on imo. But with the level editor and final smashes, assist trophies, etc., at least they're giving us tons of choices. Everybody can find their balance.
Like Azar, I don't really know anybody who actually plays with items, and I've even got random on Melee set so that it only plays tournament approved levels.
It definetly helps me come to reason as to why there are no non-moving levels as of yet.Quote:

not to mention, typically if you play the game enough you'll unlock everything. They don't exactly make it hard to unlock things in smash bros. And with all these character announcements, it makes me wonder if there will be any secret characters.... hmmm....Quote:
