Is the Ultima that Altima and Alma use different from the one Ramza and the others use?
Alma's Ultima is the same as Ramza's. Altima's is not (there's something here I don't want to say, though). I think you may have it, but there's one more thing that needs to be said.
Two versions of Ultima.
And how is this an easy question? :greenie:
Apparently it's not, because two is not the answer.
Strangely, I thought this was the easiest question I had asked, but it has turned out to be the hardest. The question I had thought was hardest was answered on the first guess. Well, I think I'll stop attaching descriptions of difficulty to my questions. So, anyway, good luck with this challenge.
I'm not quite sure what you want. Could you rephrase the question as concisely as possible?
My apologies for any confusion or ambiguity.
___ (number) of forms of Ultima are cast in the game. Just what is this number? Ulmaguest is not a form of Ultima.
Which is 2.
A form of Ultima, as I see it, is defined thusly:
"Ultima" is the name of the spell, or a significant part of the name of the spell. It is a non-elemental magic attack.
A form of Ultima has a different overall effect than another form.
Reconsider both stages of Altima. Sorry if this still seems unclear, but I'm on the verge of stating the answer outright (and I don't want to do that :)). I'm sorry that this question has caused so many problems; I really didn't think it would when I initially asked it, but I can see how it can interpreted in a number of different ways. In any case, you're all close. I think the next guess will probably get it.
I'm giving up if I get this wrong.
Three versions of Ultima:
Ultima 1: cast by Ramza, Celia, Lede, and Ultima Demons.
Ultima 2: Cast by Altima.
Ultima 3: Cast by Bloody Angel
Don't worry; three is correct! The version used by Assassins/Ultima Demons/Ramza/Alma is called Ultima, and is not particularly strong. Holy Angel Altima has a spell also called Ultima, but is apparently stronger and has a larger blast radius. Arch Angel Altima has All-Ultima, which is very strong and has a larger blast radius still.
BG-57, you're up!
Question: What are three examples of anacronistic technology in Tactics?
That is, mechanisms that exist today that would not have really existed in a Medieval period. I'm not counting spells though, since that's not technology.
Guns, trains and airships. However, Airships were destroyed a long time ago in the game, but does it still count?
I'll count it.
Other answers could include robots and some of the machines unearthed in Goug Machine City.
Ask away. :)
Damn, I always miss my chance to answer the question. Bloody school.
Isn't the basic explanation for those technologies supposed to be that Tactics occurs after the collapse of civilization, and all the technology found under Goug and whatnot is from the ancient, advanced civilization.
I suck at this. Mine are always to easy. I'm just good at answering.
What is the name of Prince Goltana's aide who is killed by Delita for betrayal? PS: His name is not on the character list in the game)
