So... Is it just a better white mage, or does it have some new abilities?
If so, it would be a bummer, seeing as the white mage has all the necessary whie magic. From the gameplay video though, you can see, that he has some special abilities concerning zombies...
Well, I believe it has been released in Japan now. Any news on when it is going to come out anywhere else?
Well, here are its list abilities I found from this wiki page

Magic Burst - Cast a Magic and teleport to attack the target
Cura - Restore an average amount of HP
Esuna - Cure Abnormal Status
Raise - Resurrect a fallen unit and restore 50% HP
Fira - Cause medium fire damage
Thundara - Cause medium thunder damage
Blizzara - Cause medium ice damage
Damage Restore MP - Restore MP base on damage taken
Ignore Reflect - Magic pierces through the 'Reflect' Status
Equip Ribbon - Able to equip Ribbon regardless of Job/Gender
Seems to be a suped up Red Mage for Humes

Six of those abilities are direct copies of abilities from other classes. That had better not be the final lineup.
As far as the class itself does it doesn't seem that bad. Not terribly powerful but a decent all-rounder. Part of me is disappointed by the lack of Doublecast, but I imagine that would make the class too powerful. Wish they'd give us a release date for the game either way.
According to this 1up preview, it's scheduled for a Q1 release in North America. According to the search results on the site, that means February 1st.
I read the preview and I like the laws this time. You get rewarded for playing along instead of just punished for breaking them.
I really wish I didn't have a DS...

man.. i cant wait for this game to appear on the *cough*?legal?*cough* downloading system.. thank god i have an M3.. i already have like 30 games on there.. way more then the ds itself costs :p
