Thats when a lot of preteens go emo. They reach puberty and a lot of hormones are pumping and they don't know what to do. She probably didn't mean to do it; she was probablly standing on her tippy-toes and slipped. She probably was just trying to scare her mom. It's still stupid, but I'm just saying.

Since lulzing is okay, a realization:

Hanging yourself is one of the worst ways to kill yourself. I never recommend it (that is a story in itself). Because breathing is the most fundamentally vital part of keeping you alive, losing it sets your body into survival mode, and no amount of 'omg my life is terrible because I can't watch BB' will override that.

Basically I'm hinting that the last moments of this girl's life were terrible and she likely very much changed her mind but could not.
