You know, for the longest time I thought Panera Bread was called Pantera Bread. I went in there to buy some Pantera themed bread, but when I found out the horrible truth I just couldn't take it. I summoned Dimebag's ghost and we totally transhed the place and rode off on our scooters into the sunset. Probably the best day of my life.
I prefer to make my own delicious sandwiches.
Panera, although I've never eaten there. :3 But hey, I've never eaten at Quiznos either. So I did an Atlanta Bread (which is just like Panera) vs Subway comparison instead. ^_^ It was close.

Panera bread makes the second best bagels in the area where I live, but I'm spoiled by a Bakery that allows you to go into the back and pick them as they come out of the oven. :choc:
Quizno's is too expensive for what they offer. Panera is too vanilla. I avoid both.

They are indeed! I want to do a coffee one next, but I don't know that many coffee places that are national/international. The only real competition in my eyes is Starbucks vs. Honey Dew, but HD is only in New England. Maybe Tim Hortons?
