I'm just saying I fail to see how much warrent a thread that says absolutely nothing about EoFF is changing.

It shows they've been worthwhile CKs for a number of years. Except for the occasional tech-admins, being promoted to admin is now basically a sign of seniority and respect (I know, ironic with regards to Psy). This thread isn't to celebrate how EoFF is changing, but respecting the noteworthy staffing careers of the two being promoted.

Actually, rubah got promoted as a tech admin, not because we respect her. And Psy just snuck himself in on her ticket when really we don't like him much at all.

Oh, well then nevermind that stuff about respect and noteworthy careers. They basically replaced clout with rubah in the tech department, so we're screwed.

That reminds me: why don't administrators have special titles, too? Normal moderators are Cid's Knights, so administrators can be special, too; they can be "Cid's Moogles," "Terminators," or something!

At the time the label of "Cid's Knights" was originated, Cid was the only admin. After a time a couple of other admins came along (the first one to stick was Unne), but it was pretty gradual until the UBB and so no real thought was ever put into giving the admins any special label.
