While travelling as a backpacker, lots of people thought I was older than what I really was too. I was 20 at the time, but many continually thought I was at least 24 (most of the people we met were between 24-30). I actually hated it when people asked me about my age because for some reason I was afraid that their opinion of me would change when I answered: "well.. uhm.. I'm 20". Almost everybody was surprised to hear my age, and thankfully most people weren't "agists", so that was cool.

If this thread includes offline incidents, a couple of times random strangers have thought that I'm my little sister's father. That's awkward.
