The Voice Thread! (or: foa's refusal to let some inane traditions die.)

Aaaaaaaaaand here's my normal voice. I had a 20 minute 18MB file of me doing the Eyes on You questions, but yeah, way too long. So you get this little thing instead! Hooray.

I recited a poem. First in my "I'm on stage, dahling~" voice, and then in my less-animated-than-normal normal voice.

I rarely sound like this in person, though.

Laddy sounds nothing like I imagined. But I think I've always imagined him sounding like Robert Plant as well as looking like Robert Plant, so there's that.

Holy crap, you really do sound like the announcer from DBZ.

Even though I don't train to sing professionally anymore, I still really like to sing covers. My voice is really out of training and practice, but the joy in it is far more important, I think. I recorded a few things with this crackbook pro! They're all really echo-y for some reason, and I have no idea how to use audio recording programs to fix it, but I might post one later one, in keeping with the voice thread tradition. I've been really into singing that Barcelona song ever since I saw Water for Elephants.

You know, Rye. I've been talking about bringing back EoFF karaoke. :bigsmile:

Remember when Bleys tried to bring that back semi-recently?

I enjoy these threads and the photo ones because it reminds me that everyone here actually exists and aren't just anonymous posters. Gives it a bit more sense of community. Keep it up everyone.

I have a bunch of podcasts and interviews I've done and plenty of recordings I've done with my band floating around the internet, but that would all be shameless self-promotion....
