I had a friend who couldn't go cross-eyed, no matter what. As soon as you brought your finger too close to his face, his eyes would just stop focusing on it. Now I know why. Huh.

I already told you this :colbert:
[q=Tig]It's very minor. Certain combinations of words and colors produce a faint scent and I can sometimes see music as colors and shapes when I close my eyes. My sense of smell is horrid otherwise, though. And sometimes when I'm listening to music that I know is fundamentally sound (proper chord progressions, no clashing notes, etc.) or even things that I wrote myself, my brain tells me it doesn't sound right with ugly polygons and such :([/q]
Only some people can do that? Can't anyone? It's easy to do voluntary, but I also get the double vision when an object is behind an object in one eye's view, but beside it in the other's.
I get the closed eye hallucinations as well, though I too thought they happened to everyone, likely as a result of the brain trying to interpret data that wasn't there. I knew it wasn't light passing through the lid, because they actually get more intense the darker it gets. Carlsbad Caverns is trippy with the lights out.
Hey, Sam. How does Skyblade look to you? And is it any different than Sky and blade separately?
Sky Blade
Skyblade
Do me! Do me! :jess:
Fascinating. So you actually see each individual letter grouping, separated by spaces, as different colors? Nifty.
Is it affected by capitilization? If so, what would Hungarian notation look like? SkyBlade.
Ooh, what about punctuation?
And it triggers on sounds? Do melodious sounds produce smoothly flowing colors, or are the colors for a piece of music as discordant as that post you typed?
Does someone's voice tend to have its own color? Do moods? Or is it again particular sounds and words?
Sounds have colours. Music, random sounds, etc.
If you want me to do your name, you've got to tell me!
So what does the FF Victory Fanfare look like?
I want you to do all of the names I've had on this forum. I'll just go get them. Ehehehe! I feel like a child, that's saved up its pocket money for months, finally going to the shop to buy that toy it always wanted! :D
Pure Quin14, Quin 'n' Tonic, Harle-Quin, Pure Queen 14, Quin, Mace Quindu, Sir Toppham Hatt, Stiltzquin, Flambard D'Quinceteth, Harle-y Davidson, Quinter Wonderland. And, hell, let's go for Arthur, as well.
If you can't be arsed with that ridiculous list, just tell me Arthur and Quin. This is super interesting, but I don't want you to waste your time haha.
Sheesh, I think Sam could set up a business!
"Roll up! Roll up! Get your synesthesia name colour here! Just $2!"
I was thinking the same thing, actually. I'll pay you in rep. ;)
Ooh, and we should do an analysis of the names of FF characters. See how their colors relate to the characters.
