I always get really drawn into careers from TV.
Like, Grey's Anatomy made me want to be a surgeon for a while. Then I remembered I really hate the sight of blood, soooo probably not the correct career choice for me xD

When I was very little I wanted to be a train driver and John Deacon. Then they told me I couldn't be a train driver because I'm colour blind so I decided to stick with just being John Deacon. One day. One day.
Oh I wanted to drive London Underground trains at one point too...
I remember in the first grade wanting to be an archaeologist and my teacher not knowing how to spell it.
Shortly after that I wanted to make comics, until I was about 11-12.
From there until I graduated high school I wanted to either be a journalist, a game designer, screenwriter or a film director.
In college I studied computer science and just wanted to end up with a job.
Now I do a lot of software design with a big focus on computer graphics. Still figuring out what it is I really want to do though.
Earliest one I remember is I wanted to be a fighter jet pilot in the US Air Force. :x
I wanted to be a novelist. Working in the publishing industry now, so not too far off base, and it isn't out of the question yet.
When I was little I figured I would have a military career cause both sides of my family are military families. Then I got into video games and wanted to make games, I used to draw out stages for Mario Bros. levels I came up with and would make up my own power-ups. When I hit middle school I wanted to be a drifter, someone who just travels and hitchhikes across the globe doing odd jobs (I'm probably the closest to this). I got into writing at this time while I still worked on game design ideas, now focusing more on RPGs, and part of me wanted to have my stories animated or filmed and in a sense I really still like this idea. Late middle school to high school, I thought it might be cool to be an assassin, and funny enough, most of my classmates and co-workers feel I really had the disposition and lack of morals to do this. I honestly still think about how hard it would be to get into this line of work sometimes, especially in my brief stint working retail. Even though I'm classified as an adult I still dream of leaving my dead end jobs and work being either a graphic novelist, script writer, or game designer. If I stopped being lazy I could probably achieve all three. Attachment 39124
The basic jobs come to mind. Police officer, fire fighter, doctor, actor. Basically jobs that receive recognition. Video game tester because I spent all my time on video games and I thought that meant doing what I was already doing but getting paid for it. Astronomer because I deeply enjoyed the glow in the dark plastic stars that were puttied to my bedroom ceiling.
Also, I wanted to be a pastor like my grandfather.
I'm not even a religious person now, so....:monster:
You're great at both, I'd buy your writings and music :thumb:
Kevin Flynn
I still have no idea but there's still time to figure it out.
i kid you not when i was younger i had always said i was either going to end up homeless or in jail. Needless to say i haven't even been arrested or gotten a ticket for anything and not homeless.
