I want to do this, and I'm going to start saving. Had this been brought up a few weeks ago, I wouldn't have gotten a PS4, haha.
There is a high likelihood I won't be able to due to various financial things coming up for me, but I'll be saving back money every paycheck and hoping I don't have to dip into that money for any reason. I've never been out of the country, so this would be fun!

Either option is ridiculously overpriced for Australians. My flights to Denver cost $3000, a trip to Edinburgh would cost around $2500. That's not really plausible for me. I can't speak for any of the others (and I can't say what flying from NZ would be like) but as in most cases, we're paying around double. So unless one of us suddenly strikes it rich, I would not expect any of us to be able to attend, let alone donate to the running of the event.
I don't see a paycheck until I made one-hundred dollars. Ad clicks on my blog generate anything from 30 cents to a dollar per click. In the past two months I only made thirteen bucks total. I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer either or complain, and I'm probably worrying over nothing like I always do, I just don't want to set myself up for disappointment. I tried finding a job that pays minimum wage and I have trout to show for it. This family holds together solely on Social Security checks and my mom's job which she could lose any day now because she's over 60 and her employers are assholes. I'd rather assume I can't go now and be surprised later than start saving just to find out I can't go.Quote:
