Well, especially with what ed's getting away with saying in this thread, let alone the rest of what people get away with saying in threads in general, if I had a child they wouldn't be allowed to come to this MB, as it stands. Since I don't have a child I don't care quite as much, but oh well.

I've been so desensitized to all kinds of "cuss" words over the past 15 years, so when I read them or hear them now, they don't even register in my mind as being bad. They've lost all meaning to me, really.

I don't personally care whether people swear or not. However, it's not good for the authority of the staff if some rules are enforced and others aren't. Sure this isn't a democracy, and people can be modded/banned at any staffer's discretion, but it's still probably a good idea to either completely enforce your rules, or not have them at all. If you let some people get away with saying anything, then crack down on someone else for inappropriate content, it just doesn't look good, no matter how fair one tries to be. Just my thoughts anyway. Enforce it or repeal it I say.
