exit and re-enter the central "Elnoyle screen" from the left hand side using the stairs. It causes mr elnoyle to respawn always

Thanks for all the info. it turns out that you need to be in the future to get to him. i wasn't back then. also, i managed to beat Ultimecia with squall at level 67, and the other party ant around level 30. How??? Rinoa's limit break Invincible moon. (i was too lazy to get any hero's/holy wars) just out of curiosity, how do you get the Giglamesh card and what moves does he have aside from Excalibur and Odin's move???

Ultima doesn't have to be fought in the future, you just have to return to the Ragnorok and go to where Laguna and Co. are before the vine appears (vaguely accurate).

Gilgamesh does the two you mentioned, plus Excalipur (1HP), and one for 9,999 damage (I think).

The Gilgamesh Card is available from (SPOILER)Quistis during the CC Quest.

Her other attack is Masamune, which does a lot. I'm not sure what it's based on though, but it usually does more than Excalibur.

You can find a ring called the Solomon's Ring at Tears' Point in Esthar. Also, you need to garther six of the following items: Malboro Tentacles, Remedy +, and Steel Pipes. Doomtrain will accept the items in Disc Three.

oh but the nasty part is that you say rinoa has been captured I'm guessing you mean by seifer, well that happens to be one of the point of no returns in the game like in the dollet mission you cant wander around the plains of alcaud any more you just drive in to town. get doom train by having 6 remedy+ (60 remedies and med lvl up ability) 6 steel pipes and 6 marlboro tentacles and the king solomon ring

What does the ability "devour" do? Apart from eating monsters up, does it have any other use?

Not that I know of. It is quite humorous, though. I seem to remember hearing that you could learn something by using it, but someone else would have to confirm this.

Don't think there's any other use for it. I never really used it at all.
