I, personally, could not give a damn about this issue. However, that's one of the functions of Feedback: giving suggestions. Be they technical, aesthetic, big, small, whatever. People, especially staff, shouldn't say "it doesn't matter" to this sort of feedback, because it obviously matters to the person who suggested it. It's also really annoying.

So I could ask that they remove your right to post in feedback because I find it annoying? :)

It "doesn't matter" when it's something we can't control. What are we supposed to do, remove the ability to quote?

Then that's what you say: "sorry, we can't control it, and it'd be unreasonable to suggest limiting the members' ability to quote." Not, "seriously, it doesn't matter."

I was SAYING that "in my opinion" it's not a big deal. Isn't the point of feedback to get other opinions on what you are complaining about?

Quoted posts don't have to bother anyone, why not just ignore them? So that's my suggestion of how it could easily be resolved.

You said anything that doesn't offend someone doesn't matter. Therefore, the vast majority of Feedback doesn't matter. Also, yes, other opinions are valid, but only if you say WHY it doesn't matter("easy to ignore," yadda yadda yadda).

I request that we remove Raist's ability to post in Feedback therefore cutting his total posts down by 80% :)

Why is it feedback? Because I feel Raist posts too much :p

Did you just start posting here or something? I always check Feedback. Such is common knowledge now. Yams even suggested moving my birthday thread here one year.
