Figure i'll start with this thread, can't decide which character is a favorite.
Character wise, I'd say Nel.
Battle Tactics wise, I'll go with Maria.

not right anyway fayt is the best character in till the end of time you just need to learn how to use him to is best
Fayt is a good char cause he's fast. And you can also make him unstoppable when he reaches level 255 as well. But it's just that all his moves are way too common and his best move has too big a build up to it. Albel only needs vampiric flash and a good amount of ATK to be good.
