Not to nitpick, but I'm pretty sure most Humans don't sit around and come to the conclusion that "I'm so awesome, I ought to have dozens of emotional states and spend a lot of time imagining things, all of which is completely counterproductive to the purpose of the species, just because I'm better than the rest of the universe!".Quote:

By the way, life has no 'meaning' per se, but the closest one can get to a 'purpose' is probably just to enjoy it as much as you can without treading on other's toes (Because it just makes sense not to; the greatest number of people can get the largest amount of enjoyment.).
