I reccomand dot hack//sign if you want a "differant" story.

ive only seen the first five episodes, at least i liked it.

I'd go to 75. It's kind of worth watching on Adult Swim, but definitely NOT worth a penny from my pockets. The anime is 250+ episodes long, when it could have been 100. By episode 80, it feels like it's dragging on for the sake of existing. Just when you think they're about to defeat the big honcho, he creates clones of himself and/or mutates into a new form. This literally happens 5+ times within the first 100 episodes.
