People with glasses are nerds? I don't see the reasoning in why people make such direct assumptions of a person just because they are wearing glasses. That's just dumb in my opinion. What has happened to the whole, "It's not the outside that counts, but the inside."?

Anyways, having glasses generally doesn't mean that you are smart. I don't wear glasses at all, and I have top notch marks that a "nerd" would normally get. People get glasses not only because of reading, but also they watch TV too much, or play video games too much, etc.

Most people with glasses look better, in my opinion. Especially females. ;)

I am a geek without glasses, a rare breed to be sure.

I am extremely near-sighted, and I blame playing video games playing close to the television, and such, and that's why I wear ... the glasses with thick lenses. However, it doesn't really make me look like a nerd, because I wear cool small framed glasses.

I've never been called a nerd, mainly because I avoid the type of people who would call me that. And those who do, only say it jokingly. :love: :love:

I wear glasses to be on the computer, or read in dim light, not for much else though. Besides i think my glasses make me look sexy...

Okay, now I really want to pick up a pair of glasses. xD I don't need them now, but my Dad has really bad eyesight, and so does my mom....and my eyesight isn't perfect now. Oh well, I guess it won't be such a bad thing?

I wear my glasses the board in class and sometimes to read the computer screen. My glasses are sexy though.
