Um, I heard once that Ultimecia has no actual body, and that what you see in the end is a combination of the bodies of all Sorceresses in existance, and that her final form is the TRUE ultimecia.

ZOMG!

No, her first form is a combination of all of the sorceresses throughout history, and her final form is the actual Ultimecia.

Makes sense...sort of.

Although we do see her before time compression...so maybe not
