Do you think FFIV and V should share a forum?

sharing a forum with 4 would cause the 5 threads to get crowded out.

Thats the reason why I asked in the first place though, that forum is one of the weaker ones anyway. FFV would be less marred than FFI-III are sharing a forum with FFIV.

No one seems to post in them anyway. Similar to the old school FF's sharing a forum with FFIV. Even if it doesnt improve FFV the FFV forum is in a pretty sad state as it is.

So again, why not tidy them up and join them as a forum with Cid's approval? The thread keeps coming up because plenty of people seem to think its a good idea.

You might as well move teh ff4 forum to CC with that kind of logic.

a) if slow forums hurt nothing, why go to the trouble to merge them?
b) Cid says himself that slow forums are fine and doesn't want forums merged needlessly.
c) if you don't want to post about ff5, don't go in that forum.

The logic I was using was FFIV&V are both on the Snes and came right after each other and the main idea is just to be neat.
Im not interested in posting in FFV or IV. Thats not what I was talking about.

Merge them so the average post count is more balanced in every forum.

Yes I know. I made it clear from the start the main reason I was for this is because it looked neater.

ff9 came out right behind ff8, they're on the same platform, and it doesn't have as many posts as some other forums. Should we merge them in too?

Maybe when we switch to vB 3.whatever BoB's first use of the new features he's been salavating over can be to split out the FFIV Forum.

Any splitting still requires Cid's approval and he seems quite adamant to leave things as they are, which is fine with me.

Well, maybe we'll just have to overthrow Cid!

Oh, he really thinks that? I thought that was just something we told people to get them to shut up.
