Foreign Languages

I speak English and i flunked the second semester of my Spanish class in HS so i know a bit of that but im forgetting it rapidly because i have no interest in that language. I would like to learn Japanese though.

English is my first language, and Tagalog is my 2nd. Took me 5 years to get really good at it, I must not be very smart :mad:

I know English, I'm learning German at school, and I's like to learn Japanese. I'd like to become fluent in both, but I doubt I will. xD I also like Korean, but I know I'll never get around to learning it. Probably the only langauge I'll have to learn is Spainish, because my dad might marry a Spainish woman and she doesn't like speaking english. >.> I don't want to learn it though, I'm happy with German.

I took four years of Spanish in high school, but it's getting rusty now, seeing as I haven't used it and didn't really learn it very well in the first place. I've taken three semesters of German now, but I don't speak it very well.

English and some French.

I'm fluent in English, and I've taken classes in French and Spanish. I've also (casually) studied Russian and Japanese.

With a bit more effort or some real necessity, I might become fluent, but for now I'm just content to study as I feel the urge. I'll be taking German soon, though.

Fluent in English, and I can speak basic French and German, although I'm more proficient in German than I am French.

Portuguese and English. And I can understand a bit of Spanish, as it is very similar to Portuguese.

About the lack of interest in learning foreign languages I suppose it's only in English speaking countries, maybe cause everyone seems to know English nowadays, so people from these countries don't really need to learn other languages to communicate with others.

And I want to learn German too.

Portuguese and English fluently, and, as dragoonknight_kain said, a bit of Spanish due to the similarities. I'd like to learn Spanish more adequately, as well as Italian, but these are future plans.

My native language is Portuguese. and besides that i know english (hope to be fluent soo enough), French, Spanish and now i'm learning Japanese, also know a little of italian. XD
