Oh, I think this idea is dumb, and if it went ahead and if, as some people are claiming, I won it, I would turn it down, because apparently it offends people when I win things.

I dont think we should have a member of the month, because everyone would vote for me, whats the point?

3) Psy has not touched my wood nor influenced my wood in any manner. Such claims are nigh on blasphemy!
4) Psy wouldn't win every time. I can think of a few people who would give him a run for his money these days. Also, Psy is far more likely to somehow organise with his friends the winners for each month, giving those he feels deserving a turn to receive a large bundle of votes from he and his friends, pushing them ahead of the pack. This will be made possible due to the fact that he and his friends will probably be, for the most part, the only ones voting.
5) I'm against the idea because of all the things people have already said, really.

I've contemplated such ideas before, mind you, including ideas of Newbie of the Month, which would be much more fun but still nothing short of favouritism and would also probably encourage spammy newbies.
