There are different procedures for quoting in threads and quoting in PMs. For reasons Del Murder (who is a smart, smart guy) already posted, placing the message at the top of the previous PM is obviously the right way to do things.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is going on my list of people never to PM.

On most of the other forums I've seen, they always have their quotes on bottom and replies on top. It really bugs me.

(insert :kaoplain: here)

I use whatever method the other uses first.

Bottom by default.

I have never seen thins before :p Wait, that's because I never get PMs :D

I just can't believe the stuff I'm hearing. I mean really, guys. This was never an issue before. We all had good times replying at the bottom. I'm especially disappointed in the veterans who have adopted this new style. THEY'RE TRYING TO CHANGE AN ESTABLISHED SYSTEM!

No, I did not.

I've been putting mine on top for years.

When I quote, it's already seated comfortably on the top, so I leave it alone.

But then you have to scroll all the way to the bottom just to get the new info. And again when you are typing your reply. It should all be right there for you.
