I'll have you know I scored 18 goals in the 97-98 playground football season! (I had spent 96-97 in goal, and I saved two penalties from the best player in school) I can't remember them all vividly, like I used to, but I will regail you all with the tale of the first.
I was in the area, and the ball was crossed in along the ground (it was a bright red ball. Pretty weird) and I slammed it into the goal. It was at the wall end, so the goal was a brick wall and it bounced back, and I put my hand in the air in celebration. 1-0!
