Most Overrated game

I dont play GTA just for the sake of protecting my IQ...

Breath of Fire 3 - was good for the first half, then completely lost itself into boredom, 4 was way better

I agree with Halo, Master Chief couldn't be more lame, and the gameplay gets old fast

Katamari Damacy - Seriously what the hell is fun about rolling around collecting things with a sticky ball.

I don't get why people hate FF7, FF8, and Xenogears, everyones entitled to their opinion, but those three are the penultimate rpg's for me

I think that FFVII is overated. But dont get me wrong its a good game but i think it gets way too much hype

Final Fantasy 10 is overated.

Tekken. I just don't see what the fuss is about. I liked Tekken and Tekken 3 a lot at the time, but then Soul Calibur came along...

For some reason people often seem to assume GTA fans are idiots. Yes its violent, and yes a lot of the humour is very basic, but if you actually ignore that and play it, its a damned impressive series. The sheer amount of things possible in San Andreas is just ridiculous. Get bored of the story? Drive around, race, do stunts, fly a plane, sky-dive, dance, sneak into houses and steal things, buy houses, get some clothes, take over territories, fly a jetpack, go to a casino, have dogfights with planes, look for hidden things, base jump, go swimming, build up your character... the list could go on for a LONG time...
Almost all of those things are executed pretty damn well. Whether to individual taste or not, the games are very well made.

GTA is pretty overrated even though they are good games, people just gone on about them too much

GTA is overrated but it is quite innovative, with the massive free roam maps and all the different things you can do.

FFVII takes the overrated cake in my books.

God of War, and Grand Theft Auto.

Also, I think Soul Calibur is the most overrated fighting game series of all time. It's mainly popular because it's... retardedly easy to play. A blind, dumbstruck, chimpanzee with one hand and a brokeN thumb can play that game and win.

What I don't get is that if GTA is overrated, and is a woefully terrible game, then why is Joel so utterly obsessed with it?

By the end of the game, I never used GFs. Actually, I don't think I used them any time after the part where you fight the Aliens on the Ragnarok.

I'll go with...Street Fighters. All of them.

And any GTA is awesome. I remember GTA 1. That game was hilariously stupid.

Hmmm Splinter Cell? I don't remeber much buzz for that game. I enjoyed it, but it could get boring at times.
