That's pretty good for first try with gimp, yes, it is a hard to use program so close to photoshop. I even think photoshop is easier. :p

Oooh, so you got GIMP? I've never used it, but from what others say and what from others have done, it seems like a really good program :D Your works seem good so far, for just beginning in GIMP, but maybe there are some tutorials out there that can show you how to do other things in GIMP? :D

Ewwwwww, these are so cute. Just a suggestion try to play around with the brushs more and avoide applying them on the parts of the images that you want to stand out. :)
