So what's the EoFF chat like?

I go into #eoff daily. It's kinda fun. #party is bloody crazy though. My room is invite only :p

#party is for the fat lonely people...
lots of people are pissy...

EoFF chat is fine. It has it's awkard silences and Joel rants about how much GTA blows, but other then that it's alright. Just don't go into #party whatever you do...

It used to be better.

I fell from #1 on the stat list two years ago to below the top 50 now, even though my actual time spent on #eoff hasn't changed all that much.

I break the awkward silences by dying. It, for some reason, makes people go hunting for phoenix downs. Nerds. :love:

Chat's great. If I didn't think so, I wouldn't put money into it every month! I agree with Jesse1 in that there are annoying people on occasion, but that happens no matter where you go. But yes, if you really want to get into the overall EoFF community, you need to get into all fronts, and that includes chat. No matter how long you've been at EoFF, there will always be a part of it that you don't know, otherwise!

As for impersonating other people, it has been known to happen over the years, but we kick people for it when they do so it never lasts very long at all. Also, most of the people who are regulars there have their names password-protected so that also helps.
