Although in my game Death Force not only protected me, but could protect the Death Dealer from Roulette. That meant I could learn it on all three party members in one encounter.
Patience is still required, since the target of Roulette is chosen at random.
On a side note I've been curious to see if Death Force makes the Kiss of Death item that DD's drop worthwhile.

If so you meet her in the Northern Crater, which is on the "4th" disk, and she causes confuse on you so you could kill yourself.
If I'm wrong about the pc version having 4 disks, I'm sorry. I've never played that version.

I will leave it for a few more days then I will give 1 hint. That hint will be big enough to narrow it down. I will say that the clue is very fair, and isn't something horrible like "the 4th town you visit" or "4th weapon you buy"

When tifa and cloud fall into the life stream, Tifa helps cloud gain his true self. Where there are 3 different stories which they follow. 1 of them is truth and after truth is met they all merge with the 4th bringing back Cloud's true self.

The clue must be answered in all areas. There are lots of "4ths" about and "deaths" but there is only a few things that can apply to "I look like 2 others, that is because I've changed" [all parts of this are literal and not vague]

1) It's a monster that occurs in several palette-swapped versions, three most likely.
2) 4 might refer to the endgame, so it may be in the Northern Crater.
That combined with Death, suggests to me Death Dealers, which can cast the instant-death Roulette, and drop Kiss of Death, and contain the word in the names.

Sounds to me like Jenova DEATH. Its palette swapped with LIFE and BIRTH, and is also 'changed' into Sephiroth's form, making this the literal reason they look alike.
I can't think of a sensible reason for '4th' though, except perhaps the fourth continent, but LIFE is there too so thats not much help. I'm really only guessing DEATH over the other two because the word is in the clue.
If I'm right someone else can post... though I feel bad if it is as this really isn't solved.

is it Sephiroth? The real him is in the bottom of the Norther Cave, he has to wait till all the "clones" get there. Through the game all the clones are searching for him, and when Cloud gets there Cloud... again gives the Black Materia to Sephiroth which unlocks him once again from his "slumber", if you will, and the weapons are released.

Is it the Key to the Ancients? It underneath the water in a cave with no light. It's a key so it cant move or fight. Everyone sees it as the Key to finding the Promise Land, and everyone want to find it cause their all Greedy (Shin-ra wants the Mako, and Sephiroth want to destroy everything). You don't really know what it does, but when you get back to the City of Ancients you learn that Aeris has summoned Holy but you must kill Sephiroth for Holy to be released and stop meteor, and all Holy wants to do is save the planet.

Command Materia: The first (Steal) is not very interesting, the second (Sense) is found on Red XIII, recruiting him unlocks the third (Enemy Skill), which is everything it's made out to be in the second poem.
it's very related to enemy skills. try to find out the "first/second/third", but not related to other command materias.
Oh, and by the way, you can find Sense in front of the gate to the crushed Sector 7. Red XIII has the Fire materia.
I know, but he also has one as well. Well, then it's the Enemy Skills Matra Magic, Lvl 4 Suicide and Chocobuckle, the last can only be gained with with lvl 4 Suicide from what I'be hard.

The problem is this clue is way too vague. Numbers with no context can be literally anything....
I think it has to do with people wondering why there's numbers with no references yet its a riddle none-the-less, and they tend to think about it for 16 mins before saying w/e and going to find something else to do.
*does an 8 have to do with 8 characters? I guess the -10 could have to do with it costing $10 on the ps3 maybe? the other 8 could be the fact the most materia 1 weapon can hold is 8 maybe, and idk about the +10 maybe you rate it 10/10? idk =/

is it a materia that gives -10 +10 +8 +8 to certain stats (I'm pretty sure materias gave +/- percentages but not sure so if they did then these numbers would be %)? I cant figure out which one it would be D:
