I'll be honest, I really DON'T see a great lynch today. Celes is probably a better lynch then what we could do, so I'll endorse it, although my vote means little. However I still don't trust Lekana. Perhaps that's just out of habit.

Argh this back and forth between qwerty and lom is confuddling me. You guys are replying to three posts ago without any context. I will say that I did notice lom acting a bit dodgy this whole time, starting with when he was first accused of sucking up to me. He did point out a good inconsistency in Laddy's roleclaim which is why I thought he was legit for a while.
I'm fine with Celes getting lynched, though it sucks if it happened on a day she has a personal issue to deal with. I had a personal issue to deal with today so I know how it feels. Lekana's long ass post had a few good points though I generally don't trust when people make long ass posts.

At this point I believe leader of mortals is mafia. As I said, he has been acting dodgy all game. When Boko posted his 'suck up to Del Murder' argument lom seemed to back up in reaction to it.
Day 1 he bandwagoned on qwerty although I thought it was pretty clear qwerty wasn't mafia.
Day 2 he votes Laddy like many of us did. Nothing too odd about that, because Laddy gave people plenty of reasons to vote for him on that day. However he unvotes later in the interest in not speed lynching. We are mostly veterans here, we know not to speed lynch. Actions like that actually are textbook ways for mafia to look like they are helping. Seeing a speed lynch one day actually might help the town, since the person casting the deciding vote is probably a mafia. :P
Finally, here is one of lom's posts from earlier today:

I'm posting a lot because I'm trying to keep each post to one idea, making them easier to read and understand than walls of text.
When you have a wall of text, it is far too easy to just skim it and miss things. :p
It also states that it's a bad idea, because it is based on the fact that you'd need to drop clues on your role, which makes a roleclaim neccesary. Any smart Governor would want to attract the least amount of attention. Dropping hints that you cannot roleclaim, yet using it as an excuse for every mistake you made isn't good mafia.Quote:

We've lost 5 townies (Sir Lancelot, Laddy, leader of mortals, Sagensyg & qwerty) already so that leaves 10 people left probably half of which are mafia. But I'm also beginning to think that there may be as few as 2 mafia. I to get day 4 rolling I think Christmas is mafia given that she acts the way she does on the rest of EoFF in the game. But then again being crazy as we've seen doesn't make you mafia!

I've thought more on the cop issue & if Boko & Freya are both cops the possibility of one of them being a pro mafia cop exists. If your both cops you should investigate the inactive players.

But it's not a small game it's the same size as a normal game and according to his post in the first thread the sign up thread he stated there wouldn't be any crazy role variations just normal roles. SO I doubt that. I'm just not inclined to believe your claim of survivor. You couldn't survive if you came up guilty that would make you more of a promafia role. And hinder the town even if you were just shown up as guilty, upsetting the balance of the game. It would defeat the whole reason of you trying to win for whichever side won.
SD, all I can give is my word that my roleclaim is true. I happen to believe that figuring out why Blues Agent didn't get killed when he got shot is a better idea than lynching me, as well as trying to figure out why DD mentioned a "boom," mainly because now that both cops are out in the open (if both are telling the truth), they will most likely be targets tonight, and they're the town's last hope of finding the real mafia scum aside from random lynches.

if you want my honest opinion, since I've been siding with the town the whole time and trying to play like a townie, I think Timekeeper's a little suspicious because of his in-and-out posting style. I think it's possible that Proto could be the Godfather, unless I'm mistaken in thinking that Godfathers are bulletproof?

Well, I don't believe there is a role blocker, since Boko clearly lied about his role claim, so it's safe to say I am a townie, so everyone can scratch me off as potential mafia scum.

I wasn't roleblocked last night, I investigated Christmas, and got innocent. Haven't gotten to investigate myself because I got no result until tonight, so I had no reason to check an investigation, so I don't know how good my info is, especially with the existence of another Cop. Jiro, Jess, and Blue are basically confirmed, leaving Timekeeper, Christmas, Del Murder, Del, Dreamer, and myself. I don't think Dreamer is mafia, nor would I lynch myself, nor would I lynch Christmas as I want to investigate myself to see what kind of result I get (Innocent could render my Naive making my role a distraction, if I come up Guilty, my investigation on Christmas makes her mafia). Leaving Del, and Timekeeper.

Hm, continuing to think about this, Christmas might be a better vote for me, if she comes up guilty as I do believe she will, I know to investigate myself, and the outcome of that investigation will confirm exactly what I am, insane or naive.
Also, stating this now in case ya'll do lynch me. I believe the mafia is Del Murder, Christmas, and Timekeeper. With that they'll be able to win tomorrow if I'm lynched and they get their night kill off.
To the roleblocker: I believe we have a roleblocker as I wasn't roleblocked last night (a prostitute would've continued to roleblock me and I can't think of anything else that would get me a non-result) and I think I know who you are. If I get lynched, it'll be up to you to stop the kill and make the game continue. You should have a 33% chance if the town lynches me :(
Well it looks like I missed a lot. Blame it on unlucky timing of the day/night phases of the game. The times when I am online the most have coincided with night phase of the game. I am in fact at work right now and not much time to post.

We had two cop role claims and one of them was confirmed. So what does that make Gobo? A second cop? It doesn't add up, but one thing bugs me. Jiro you ask some good questions but you forgot one. That question is: Why would Gobo claim cop if he was mafia? At the end of Day 3 my suspicions on him were high. He mentioned the Del Murder suck up argument early on, and then proceeded to agree with most everything I said. We even voted the same. He also said some peculiur things that I hope to get a chance to quote later. But this cop claim doesn't fit in.
We might be dealing with the silent noob mafia, that is, some combination of Christmas, Proto, SD, and Timekeeper. I want to hear from all of them before this day is over. I don't know why you guys automatically believe Proto is bulletproof. There was a game where the mafia godfather was day kill immune. It was the one where Psychotic was day vigilante I think. I remember it because Miriel tried to shoot Jojo and was so sad when it didn't go off. :(

I agree that, if you are a cop, you are either naiive or insane. Also for the cop claim to even make sense, there needs to be a role blocker, who has yet to come forward.
I'm not saying it's most likely that Proto is a mafia godfather, I just think it's weird that so many people automatically cleared him as bulletproof, and say things like godfathers aren't day kill immune, when in the past this has not been true.
I am going to withold my vote for when I have more time to get a clear read on things and go into more detail, which will be in the evening.

I sort of agree with Blues Agent about Christmas but the more I think the more I'm beginning to doubt my own theory!
My money right now is on either Boko, Del Murder or Timekeeper. Boko's role claim is probably false because as Jessweeee pointed out 2 cops in a game this size unlikely.
Del Murder & Timekeeper I suspect for similar reasons. Their active patterns in the game are rather erratic. They seem to show up with just enough time to check up on how the game is going. If they are mafia this would give them just enough time to decide who to night kill.

I have to reserve my vote at the moment. Process of elimination doesn't seem like the right way for me to go when it's so likely I need to use it to save my tail-feathers (when it comes down to it, I know I'm innocent and I know that a lynch of anyone else is more helpful with the town backed up against the wall).

Del brings up an interesting point with the prospect of you being the Godfather however in my opinion that's him sowing seeds of discord.
Hi Jiro, I'll talk to you. It would be nice to finally talk to someone in this game, because when ever I get on either the thread is closed or no one's posting. Yet I get accused of inactivity...
I was not sowing seeds of anything when I made that comment. I was just pointing out that people were wrong when they assumed godfathers aren't day kill immune, when we have had instances where they were. Boko makes sense that the bulletproof godfather wouldn't appear in this game because it gives lom even a lesser chance of doing something useful with his role.

If you want to talk about inactives, let's talk about Timekeeper and Christmas. TK is the definition of the sly inactive. He makes a post saying a few things, then bounces. I have always said that mafia could just hide in this game and win every time. I think he is mafia doing just that.
Christmas has posted, yet she has said very little. She is in fact the perfect mafia player. She is new so easily forgivable for not really playing, and she has that posting style that makes it easy to go easy on her. But go look at her posts. Or I can save you the trouble, and quote the only post of substance she has made all game:
Her vote for me is based on accusations of diverting attention away, with no evidence. And away from what? I had no votes at that point. She says a little bit about others, just enough to keep them thinking she is actually playing. I think she voted for me because it was a safe vote, knowing I wouldn't be voted out on those days. That's actually some great dirt on Christmas right there. That "post of substance" also says basically nothing. You can kind of draw from it that she thinks you're scum, Celes and Proto were suspicious and LoM wasn't a concern. But that doesn't help without real reasons why.
Maybe after calling her out she will post some reasons why. It's what I'm hoping for at least.
Shattered Dreamer and Proto have not been giving me much of a scum vibe, except for two things. For SD being his majority vote to end Day 4 early, and Prot his continued proclaims of 'confirmed' after it was mentioned that his role is bulletproof.
I find it odd that the masons are still standing after Laddy called them out. Maybe they are both mafia masons. Or maybe there is one, or zero mafia masons. At this point in time I'd rather not vote out a mason based on this hunch.
I'm saving the best for last, but I need a break.

After this he probably thinks his goose is cooked and so he claims cop and then Lekana claims cop and then all hell breaks loose. This leads to the quick lynching of Celes (who he knows is not mafia) and then brings us today. I've already commented on today and I've been at this a while so I'll just leave that as it is.
This is what I have meant when I said I have been suspecting him. Forgive me for not posting it sooner because quoting all this stuff and typing it out is tiring. My main question today is what is Gobo? As I'm sure everyone is wondering. At the end of Day three I thought you were scum because you're posting was off and unjustified. Day four you claim cop, but then Freya turns up as the real cop, leaving you as some other variation of cop or Mafia.
After role claiming you seemed to make a bit more sense with who you were targeting and what you were saying, but you didn't really explain anything that I had noticed of you on Day 3.
So it makes it very difficult to decide what you are...
Again, I'm sorry that I'm never around to join in discussion, the times are just difficult on this side of the world (and I'm not crazy like Jiro who enjoys going to be at 4am, mind you he doesn't have a job :P), so as usual I'll give a summary of everyone and let you pick through when you all wake up...
Jess & Jiro - I've grouped them together for obvious reasons. One of them could still be a Mafia Mason though, and then we'd be in a world of trouble...
Shattered Dreamer - SD seems like a good guy to me, kinda filling in the void that appeared when Qwerty was killed. The only thing that stands out for me was that the only vote cast by SD was the one that killed Celes. Although that would be an odd thing for a Mafian to do.
Boko - I still can't decide if you're Mafia or a cop of some description. Your recent actions have led me to believe you're town, although you might just be a Mafian who's got his act together. I don't know :(
Proto - Is most likely a Bulletproof Townie, and seems to act like a townie, but could still potentially be a Godfather with bulletproof abilities, it could happen.
Del Murder - I have no idea what his role might be, but he is probably something powerful. He hasn't been posting too often, but nor have I and I can understand that... I'm hoping he is town.
Christmas - Christmas has me staring blank. I don't know what he might be because he doesn't post much to give me any vibes, town or scum... I think you're just a new player and that's that.
Boko is still the most sus to me, as he was end of Day 3, but I'm just further confused about the situation because of role claims...
Hmmm, I had hoped that would focus my thoughts, but I guess I'll just read up and think on it a bit more.
