You should have brought that issue in the Discussion thread, blackmage. There's no need to talk about it during the middle of the round.
Edit: In the meantime, I'm deciding not to reward your team the 17 points your team lost, blackmage. You've asked whether discussion can be done before a Team Steal attempt, and Guardian XIII answered saying that I only allow discussions during the attempt only. What I mean by that is if the team decides to "publicly" discuss in the thread, they are allowed that only after the third strike. Any time after the second strike and before the third strike, the team can "privately" discuss done through PMs or other means. Discussing publicly will and can assist the team currently playing, and they have not done that. So they will be keeping their 17 points they have stolen.
That's right. In Family Feud, the team not answering the question still reserves the right to huddle up, quietly mutter to each other and discuss steal answer possibilities. That's essentially when our PM pre-steal discussions were replicating.
This current question makes me very nervous, however. I think it's a toughie.
