talked with my friend there and got some banter and booze flowing
then left by myself to the bars because my flatmate was being retard
met Trigger Mike at the bars, got shots, drinks and ended up staying waayy too long there
got to the club at 4 am and me and this girl who was with us decide it's not worth paying the entrance fee for only 2 hours
so now I'm here at home typing on the internets while Trigger Mike is apparently hooking up with hot girls >:|

Cool bro story of last night:
Still feeling the alcohol from last night. What a trout night out. First we got way too many shots at the bar, shook hands with a bunch of scary-looking African drug dealers standing outside the bar and even had a drunk conversation about how their business was going on a monday night, then went back in for more shots and got the hell out of there and trying to evade the drug dealers.
Then we went to the club, which was completely packed, too many dudes and no sign of the cute girls we met earlier who were also supposed to go there. Of course my friend mike was totally pulling one of the few girls there until he was dumb enough to ask me if I wanna leave to this other club. Shouldn't have said yes because that kinda cockblocked him. At least he did one before on me so the cockblocking score is even now.
Then we head all the way out to the other club, and when we arrive at around 4 it's like a war zone. There's teenagers puking their brains left right and center. Apparently yesterday was a party for the children of the VIPs who were at the party of the club's 25 anniversary last saturday and they were ordering bottles with their parent's credit cards like it was nothing. Of course, we didn't get in.
Then we met at the entrance this dude that we went out with last saturday, who actually did manage to get in. He was with a couple of Swedish girls who were also there on saturday. Best thing of the night happened: him telling the girls he was meeting with the guys from last saturday at the entrance, and they apparently were like "ugh we don't like that one guy." And he was like "Who, Mike?" "No, the bald one who was wearing the beanie". Fml. I didn't even wear the beanie for most of the time we hung out with them.
So we turned around, for some stupid reason got two more beers at a burger stand, and walked back to the other club, where Mike was chatting with some people who were leaving, including a girl who of course was totally into him and I was just standing there all awkward like and pissed off. Then we went back with a cab because every food place was still closed until 6 am.
I drank so much sake last night that I ate Randy.

On Thursday, I drank on campus with three of my friends in one of the offices (one friend works there, and no one else was there because the school's between semesters). I honestly don't remember the latter half of that night but I threw up in a trash can in the office. Then again at home.
Man, that sweet tea vodka killed me. I guess the other stuff did, too, but I didn't even know I drank some of the raspberry vodka until my friend told me afterward. :eep:

Tonight was pretty nuts. Wanted to write up an entire story about how the night went, but couldn't really be arsed when I got back and who's gonna read it all anyway?
So here's a summary of tonight: had troutty food at an all you can eat sushi place, got anxious as smurf at the bars and wanted to go home but ended up sticking around just to see what would happen, got into a fancy club that kinda sucked, screwed up pulling 2 girls without even realizing they were into me, drank way too much (somehow our group ended up getting about 6 bottles of vodka for our entrance fee), chilled the smurf out, realized some new philosophical breakthroughs, and ended up going back in the morning with trigger mike again.
All in all a pretty mediocre night, but best NYE I've had in many years. Pretty decent start of the year!
Now I'm just clearing another bottle of water before going to sleep. trout still spinning around when I close my eyes.
So my friend and I invented a drinking game months ago and last night was the first time we had a chance to try it out

I drink Tom Collins('s?); Gin, half a lemon/lime, soda water and traditionally a teaspoon of caster sugar but I don't worry about that, I prefer it unsweetened.
