Yeah, I thought that too. Even though they were different letters they were a very similar style.
If it's any consolation Andy Lincoln wants the same thing.
Attachment 63543
I've wanted that to happen in the comics too. :\
This might just be a coincidence, but there's an interesting read on how the last 5 episodes of this season are all titled with a word from a sentence Dale said.
http://www.thewalkerstalkers.com/dalelives/
This may not mean anything, but the show always finds ways to drop little easter eggs here and there. It's interesting with there already being one throwback to Dale when Glenn has to fix the RV this season.Quote:
Dale decides to tell a story about a father who gives his son a watch that had been passed down for generations. At the end of his story, Dale has this quote: “I give it to you not that you may REMEMBER time, but that you may FORGET it for a moment now and then and not SPEND all of your breath TRYing to CONQUER it.”
Check out the episode titles for the final 5 episodes of season 5:
Episode 512-“Remember”
Episode 513-“Forget”
Episode 514-“Spend”
Episode 515-“Try”
Episode 516-“Conquer”
An ok episode for sure, but nothing special or worth commenting on. I'm really noticing the difference between watching the episodes as I choose, as I did before this half of the season, and watching it week by week.
They better put a bullet in Nicolas' head. I know he was scared and it was an instinctual fight or flight type of thing. But i'm pissed. I was really looking forward to Noah's growth, especially with that new journal. What stings even more is that Noah's death isn't just about him, it's also an extension of the sacrifice Beth made for him. I'll miss him.
Eugene got himself some redemption cred at the end there. I hope Tara's alright.
I must admit I wasn't expecting Carol to turn around and bond with Sam in this episode. I'm ready for Rick to take out the physically abusive husband. He has what's coming to him.
Gabriel's a big hypocrite considering all the things he's had to do to survive himself.
Attachment 63607
NOAAAHHHH! Dammit, he was going to build and ark. :(
I like this turn of events with Sam liking Carol anyway.
And now for everything to fall apart... smurfing Gabriel. He is the worst. He's worse than the Governor.
Why didn't Maggie confront Gabriel before he could leave Deanna's house? Maybe if she got defensive it would illustrate his point about hostility or something along those lines.
Gutted for Noah. Like what has been said, I was really looking forward to seeing him develop.
Have I missed something? I don't remember the husband being abusive to anyone. OK, maybe verbally but nothing physical. Carol saying to Rick that he has to kill him is a ridiculous overreaction.
I don't think Deanna believes what Gabriel said but it will have put a little seed of doubt in her head. She may be more believing when Glen and Eugene come back without her son. Nicolas is sure to blame them for what's happened. The whole thing will be exacerbated if Rick takes out that husband with no real proof of anything.
Our group is definitely gonna end up taking over the town.
They haven't said it outright but they've been heavily hinting at it by showing him to be a jealous drunk. Hell, he was quite hostile just sitting on his porch at night when Rick hadn't done anything more than talk to his wife.
And the thing with Carol is that she lived that for years and has since become the kind of person who not only wouldn't take that crap anymore, but would actively murder anyone who tried and not think twice about it. She recognizes the signs, and her suggesting Rick kill him may be an over reaction, but it's certainly not a stretch for her.
I'm half surprised she didn't just go murder him herself.
Poor Glenn had a front row seat to a brutal feed fest. I'm super surprised he didn't keep beating the guy.
Sam asking for a gun was supposed to tip you off that his dad was beating his mom. That and all the drunkness.
"Hey Rick let's be friends"
*slaps him on the face*
*pats him on the shoulder real hard*
I seriously loathe Nicholas and Gabriel with a great passion.
If anything every one of them proved they put others in front of themselves. smurfing crazy ass religious and their cray cray ideas. But time for comic book spoilers...
(SPOILER)pete does get killed by Rick in the comics because he is beating his wife. They then go on to have sex a lot. So yeah. It seems like that will probably happen in the show as well especially because both Carol and Rick have a strong motive. I am very worried how that is going to escalate the situation with Congress Lady's suspicion. Thanks Gabe. I can imagine that they will have some sort of civil war in there that will then attract the zombies and because the wall is still under construction I can see them breaking the walls. Not sure how they are going to recoup after that.
as I said earlier these people will either get with it (with people who know what they're doing) or they will die. It seems like they are choosing the later. It's a pity because I do actually think Congress Lady is a good person and genuinely wants the best for Alexandria.
Also Franceen must totally be the new love interest for Big Red. Unless she is a lesbian but I am not saying that just because the haircut. Okay maybe a little.
Yeah I know, all the signs point to it but there is just no evidence for it. How do we know that Sam wanted the gun to protect against his Dad? It wouldn't surprise me if it's the Mum that's being abusive. She portrays a nice, friendly mom figure to the community but... no-one knows what happens behind closed doors.
The mom? Please. A man of Pete's size could protect himself against her. The kid said he needed a gun to give to someone and he was talking about a parent. It's completely illogical to think that he would want Pete to have that gun. Plus his body language and what he says to Rick all points to porch dick. He was bothered by Rick from the get-go "I saw you two" "we are trying to hold on to what we have" and he is constantly drinking when we see him. The mother even comments on it at the party and he snaps at her that he will get it, it being a drink.
Glenn is also literally amazing. Not only does he not kill Nicholas he goes back to help that other douchebag. Glenn was basically always a saint and has been my favorite character from episode 1. Carol although she is now evil Carol, obviously enjoys telling children to piss off but I know deep down she just doesn't want to get close to any children anymore because of what happened to Sophia and those two little blond girls. I hope she becomes friends with Sam eventually and they bake cookies together.
I'm not saying that's what I think is happening, I merely said that it wouldn't surprise me. I never said that he wanted the gun for Pete either. All I'm saying is that none of us have any idea what is happening inside Sam's house. Is there another person we don't know about? Wouldn't be the first time.
You are all probably right. Sam and his Mom are getting abused by the drunken father and Carol and Rick are gonna go and take him out. I just find the fact that we haven't seen evidence of it unusual. We all know this show has no problems with showing violent behaviour. Surely they would have shown him being abusive to them both to justify Carol and Rick's reaction.
Oh well, we'll find out soon enough.
ofc you dont see anything about the abuse, because it all happens behind closed doors, and for the public they play the happy couple. because that is how it happens in real life to!
Noah's death was brutal! i really felt sad for Glen, that he had to see it all.
and even though i am with Rick's group, Gabriel was absolutely right about them. they are wolves in sheep's clothing, and they cant be trusted as they have shown. (stealing guns, literally planning to take over the city...)
Noah's death was so graphic and i'm super pissed at that guy.
What the hell gabriel?! They murdered CANNIBALS. That wasn't an evil thing that was a good thing.
See you know there is something going on with Pete and Sam and his wife because when carol had her suspicions and she went over there, sweet nice carol that the public knows, he not only blows her off about Sam but doesn't let her talk to his wife either and just closes the door in her face. It was okay for him to come bring beers to rick but not okay for sweet nice carol to pop in? Something is going on.
Gabriel is only partially right. He said that they wouldn't help people before themselves. That is complete bulltrout. Glenn tried to save that guy, Big Red saved Franceen, and several times before this episode they tried to help people who weren't apart of their group. I think in the end Rick does have some evil intentions and does want to take the place over completely because he does feel they are incompetent, but they are.
Some how they have managed to make it work without them though but I don't think the zombies are their biggest threat. It seems pretty clear that other humans have always been the biggest threat in this show.
Also Michonne and Carl saved Gabriel's ass. How quick he forgets. He is selfish just like those people and would rather save his own ass than someone else's. I'm not sure I get Maggie's reaction either. Maybe she feels some what guilty about what happened in the church? Though she shouldn't because it was self defense. Those people were disgusting.
I also think it's wrong to lump them in one thing. Though they are Rick's group, they are all individuals. While Glenn, Michonne, and Abraham (Big Red) may be good-hearted I don't think Rick is anymore and I think he sees every opportunity now as a "what I can get from them" opportunity.
I just want to say that physical size does not necessarily impact one's ability to be abused.
I think that Sasha is the new (SPOILER) comic Andrea
Great episode. I can see it going down with Rick taking out action against the creepy husband, and him being exiled from the town, maybe Glenn and Carol too.
I think the group will split. Some are fitting in better than others. I can see Rick making a mistake about this creepy husband and alienating some of his own people...except Carol, she's turning pretty crazy!
So so glad to see Glenn getting decent screen time, and doing what he does best - going out on runs. Classic Glenn.
So why do you think Rick was staring at his wedding ring?
Could it be he was just reminiscing after trouthead mentioned Lori's death? Could it be he was thinking about Jessie and not wanting to become Shane? Maybe he was thinking about taking it off because he doesn't want to think of her while he thinks of this new woman in his life.
Check out this 8 bit version of season 1 and 2:
It looked like he was contemplating taking it off because he wants to move on. It is weird that they are basically making him Shane but these are different circumstances. He legit thought Rick was dead. This is actually worse because he wanted to shoot that dude before he even knew if he was abusive then he was all "sike nah, lemme go listen to this zombie".

Someone brought up the whole Shane and Rick shaving parallel thing on Talking Dead tonight. Honestly, the more and more this show progresses the more I am seeing parallels and I don't like it, but I do love that acting. Going for that Emmy, I see.
Overall I think they are all dealing with PTSD in their own way. I think the only one sort of coping with it is Glenn who has changed the least in my opinion, though it will be interesting to see how Noah getting brutally murdered in front of him alters his behavior.
I also think it's interesting how so many people on my Facebook feed are either "yeah smurf you Rick" or "wtf how dare they disobey Rick". In all honesty, I was tired of the Ricktatorship and I think the end of this season Rick will probably end up being right about them being very dumb. I only see it going one of two ways. One way, might separate parts of the group; those who are with Rick and those who are just like, "you know what I'm tired of moving around". Either that or Rick will just takeover Alexandria completely.
All in all, I definitely see this ending in some type of war between the two groups now with Rick and Congress Lady directly opposing each other, though as a twist, Rick is the antagonist. Not sure how they're going to fit the whole W thing and Morgan in the season finale, but it's 90 minutes so they better figure that trout out. And no, I don't think that's an upside down M especially when it says "Wolves" in the mid-season premiere in graffiti on a gate.
People have argued with me about how rick was in the right. I just see him as the Governor, taking over to do things his way. Or Shane, trying to lead and kill people because "that's the world we live in". Both people who are dead and were considered the bad guys. Rick is too far gone. He could have stopped because everyone saw the guy hit his wife. It would have driven the point home. Rambling all bloody like a madman about taking over just made him look bad.
This is the kind of episode I have been waiting for.
There's no such thing as too far gone in this show Freya. There's just getting a chance to change and dying before your chance comes.
Well I hate to say I told you so! I told you Pete was being abusive to Jesse and Sam. As if you thought it might be Jesse being violent, you fools!
I think this episode has confirmed that Rick is the Walter White of The Walking Dead.
Carl, Michonne, and Glenn are on the side of the coin where they're like "wtf are you doing Rick" but I think Carl and Michonne are the only ones who can help steer him back in the right direction. It will be interesting to see who decides to go with him when he gets thrown out of Alexandria (we see in the next episode previews that it appears he is being thrown out I think). I think Sasha is totally on board and Carol but she is busy being a ninja so can't openly agree. Rick was crazy for a while though...thinking Lori was calling him when she wasn't. Dude was having PTSD way before everybody else.
Still him being crazy doesn't mean he's entirely wrong. You can't simply just oust people without taking some precautions. Maybe not killing him but at least ensuring that he can't get back in some how. I honestly think Congress Lady and the dumb ass Alexandrians are in for a rude awakening.
What if they off Rick before he gets kicked out though?
Things I'd like to see in the finale:
-Daryl and Aaron finding Morgan
-Finally seeing the Wolves in person, this whole wolves thing is either going to be resolved by the end of the episode in a bloodbath, or the introduction of the wolves is going to be the cliffhanger for season 6
-Pete needs to die
-The authority in Alexandria needs to shift
-Please don't kill Tara
-Nicolas trying to use the gun on Glenn and having it backfire hard
Death prediction:
I think Carol is going to bite it. Sorry, Shlup.
ow gosh, no, i really like Carol.
it anoys me a little how they gave us a Morgan teaser all the way in the beginning of the season, and now they leave us at the very end of the season with it.
im p sure they will show us the Wolfs as a teaser/clifhanger for the next season
ooh yeah: '' Michooonnee,, what the hell :l ''
As seen on Robert Kirkman's twitter page, the new spinoff will be called "Fear The Walking Dead".
It's almost Sunday and I already can't contain my emotions because I know there's going to be death. Show runner said there won't just be walker blood.
Oh no, don't kill Carol please no. She still needs to make her cookies. Characters who l think will die: Tara (one can I hope), her son (his eyes freak me out ok), Father Dick (one can dream), a bunch of other Alexandrians (because they had it coming), Rosarita (just have a hunch and I have no idea of that's her real name).
Probably not going to die: Carl, Michonne, Sasha (she is safe in the tower pretty much), Morgan (whenever the smurf he appears).
All bets are off on everyone else though. Normally I'd include Rick but he's been acting too stank for me to feel sure that he'll be okay though for the most part I think he will be.
Carol is totes a guest on Talking Dead though so that leaves me worried.
I wonder if a bunch of walkers Are going to knock a wall down or sneak in and kill a lot of people.
I hate having to wait until Monday nights to watch this. This thread just sits there on a Monday morning taunting me.
Glenn has an impenetrable fortress of forgiveness. I loved his scenes this episode. Proof that kindness isn't weakness in a person.
I think Gabriel talking mad smack about Bob and Tyreese is going to help reaffirm Sasha's values and bring her back to reality.
I'm glad Abraham and Eugene are starting to get some closure on their past.
Fist bumps all around since my girl Tara lives to fight another day :smug:
Morgan kicked so much ass with that cedar stick. I'm very excited about seeing him as a regular next season. I'm wondering how he'll react to seeing Rick now that he seems to have taken on the "every life matters" approach.
Daryl going Castlevania on those walkers was awesome.Attachment 63756
After all that mess went on I thought "Aw man, Aaron didn't get that license plate" haha.
I'll post some wrap up thoughts on the season as a whole in a follow up post.
Final story sync:
Attachment 63757
I really enjoyed the finale. Having read the comics, though, I'm really surprised on who is still alive and who isn't. There's a TON of difference.
But my favorite part? Definitely the fact that it was made 30 minutes longer so that they could show 30 more minutes of commercials. Oooh, yeah. /endsarcasm
Daryl always has the best kills. He beats mothersmurfers with other mothersmurfers AND uses a chain to get a three kill combo. The new Zombie Killer of the Year.
I am annoyed though because there wasn't enough Richonne. Also I loved that plot device with the map. So simple, and yet tied Morgan's storyline together nicely. Morgan comic book spoiler:I am hoping his storyline has nothing to do with his storyline in the comics. It will ruin the Richonne. >=(
Rick killing Pete was of course the right thing. As I said on here or on Facebook, Rick was right about all he said. You can't have a violent asshole hurting people because he's abusive and a drunkard. How helpful could he be then? And he was also right about them not knowing wtf they are doing.
However, I am thoroughly annoyed at that scene with Glenn. Glenn killing that guy would have been out of self-defense since he shot him for reasons we don't know, but I feel it was poor writing to have him just venture off anyway and Glenn follow him. I guess he wanted to leave because yeah him leaving a safe haven like that makes total sense. This season was lackluster compared to what he could have been but Walking Dead is known for dragging things out or having pointless scenes in between good scenes. Side note: I will say this was the most satisfying opener for an episode. Gotta love Morgan.
Nicholas is just ridiculous, ugh. Wolves please take him and Father Gabriel. In short if they don't kill Father Gabriel and every other filler character they have by the first episode of Season 6 they can smurf off. I can deal with evil characters I cannot deal with stupid and annoying ones. I also find it hard to believe that Maggie is so good-hearted now to Father Gabriel. I can understand Glenn with Nicholas just because it's Glenn, but Maggie with Father Gabriel? I guess she was trying to prove him wrong and seeing that he is trying to punish himself for his sins, but helping him up? Girl, bye. I still firmly believe that he is coward and not fit for this so he had the right idea. Too much of a coward to even try to kill himself hence why he then killed the zombie.
I guess the writers thought that by trolling their deaths they would at least win us back by having Pete die, but everyone who knows about the comics knows Pete dies by Rick's hand so that was no big hooray.
AL ALALA LA LA NOT READING AS I HAVEN'T WATCHED YET D: D: I WILL WATCH TONIGHT
Trailer for the spin off series
Okay. Watched it.
Morgan!!! Yes, he was awesome. Although his whole, life is precious mantra and then right when he walks in Rick is executing a man may cause some issues.
Yeah, Morgan became my favourite character in just one episode. He is the human Donatello.
I thought a little more might happen for a series finale but I suppose we know that both groups have officially bonded now. I think you're right though Kaycee in that Morgan will definitely not approve of Rick's actions at the end of the episode.
Series 6 is set up nicely for a stand-off between the new coalition and the Wolves.
Yeah I'm sure we'll come back with the wolves attacking for a hoorah of a first episode.
I'm also very interested in the spin off, Fear the Walking Dead. It seems to show us how the whole thing started!
Omg, what an episode (tho i agree i expected a little more action)
*adds morgan to the list of coolest character* he was so freaking awesome with that stick.
and now... alot of waiting ;_;
Trivia: Morgan was taught how to use a bo staff by the stunt guy for Donatello in the 90's Ninja Turtle movies.
Well, yes and no. I think the goal is to answer the question "What's going on in other parts of the world?" while at the same time showing the start of the outbreak. I don't think they'll explain why or how it started though.
Yes this season was in my opinion the best. It had everything I wanted. Gangsta Bitch Carol scaring annoying children and abusive men, Rick having a Shane moment, Richonne, Morgan turning in to Blade. Daryl being Daryl. Pretty good and a good set up for next season. But the season finale wasn't as good as season 4 finale.
Keeping in mind that Rick was only in a coma for a few weeks (possibly a month or two), I imagine that the "origin story" aspect of Fear The Walking Dead won't go much farther than the first season.
I really did like this episode, and to shorten it I will just say because of what everyone else has. The only thing I can add is: why do they keep putting Glenn in all of these close call scenarios...if he goes I quit.
Also can anyone confirm or deny that Pete had michonnes katana?

Can't get enough of them memes, Shai.
I had the finale of this show DVR'd and finally watched it yesterday. Disappointed that only two (and minor ones at that) of the many many filler characters got killed. Various people need to die and it would have been nice if the herd got thinned a bit at the end of this season. The following people have outlived their usefulness and need to die:
The Preacher
Sasha
Eugene (though he's funny)
Lesbian Cop (maybe she has something more to provide since she survived a very killable moment)
Douchebag Who Tried to Kill Glen
I thought at least one of those would bite it (no pun intended) in the finale.
Also Rick x Michonne needs to happen just because it would be so awkward it would be hilarious.
I actually have hopes for the LA spinoff since I hope they will learn their lessons from all the mistakes they made with this show. With a clean slate it will be interesting to see where they take it.
Also I hate that the stupidity of the characters (often uncharacteristicly) is used as the plot device so freaking often. It was definitely consistent with Gabriel's character to haphazardly shut the gate since he has gone crazeballs but not for the guard who was in charge of the gate and three feet away to ask the weird preacher who went out for a walk, unarmed, into zombie land to handle one of the most important jobs in the whole town! Also how did Gabriel's shirt stay white that whole time?
The thing I've seen the most eyebrows raised over was how it was bright outside when Rick shut the gate but was pitch black 3 seconds later when he sees the group in the town meeting.
I'm not a huge stickler for continuity errors, to be honest. I let it slide.
let's see how my dreams were dashed this season:
Oh wait, they weren't dashed :smug:
Daryl needs to be the Sawyer to Rick's Jack and shut him down when he's going off on one of his stupid plans, but he just isn't. Bring back Shane. Shane would sort Rick's ass out.
It is possible to get lost in the woods for two hours or longer. They had probably diverged away from their known path and then it became dark. It could have also been closer to night time say 4pm. But yes, I don't know why he didn't shoot him. The guy tried to kill him, so it's self-defense. Glenn is just being stupid now and will probably die next season because of it.
Surprised no one posted this yet.

Judging from the trailer, i'm guessing issues 78 to maybe 84 are being adapted into season 6.
oh sh*t!
(SPOILER)Quote:
Hold on to your bats!
The Walking Dead is casting for a character code named "Orin," who definitively fits the characteristics of one comic book character you may have heard of: Negan.
The news comes from The Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page, who cited Spoil The Dead.
Quote:
"30s to mid 40s. A physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath that is both a leader of men and a killer of men. He has both a practical and emotional intelligence, he's a brilliant strategist, he's pure, dangerous, murderous, often gleeful id, that still has both discipline and a code. And he has a temper that can vaporize people. He's truly one of the strongest personalities ever..."
Think about it... The Walking Dead is perfectly on pace to introduce Negan in the season 6 finale. Averaging 20 comic book issues per season, with season five's culmination equivalent to issue 79 where Pete Anderson gets put down, issue 100 is on par to be the season 6 finale. Don't forget, season one was only six episodes when you try to point out how this theory may be an issue or two short with exact math.
In addition to the comic-issue-to-episode-count parallels, the series also cast Tom Payne as Paul "Jesus" Monroe and Xander Berkeley as an unnamed comic character described very similarly to Gregory. These two hail from the Hilltop Community and they both come into play prior to Negan's introduction which is, in fact, while Rick is en route from Alexandria to the Hilltop.
Looks like we're getting Saviors and Hilltop in season 6.

Someone needs to change the thread title to Season 6.
I can't wait to avoid this thread like the plague for 24 hours before I watch it here in the UK on Monday night.
Well then, tonight's the big night. It's time for me to lay down my season 6 desires.
Same as last season, I've got my main two people I'm always rooting for. Hopefully my dreams aren't dashed.

Holy crapola! So many zombies. SO MANY. SO so so so many. And the plan worked! It worked! But then the siren went off cause I think someone took the oppurtunity that they were gone from alexandria to attack it. It must be the W people.
Also, I'm glad that stupid dude that got noah killed is manning up now.
Also also, that one guy who rick pulled a gun on, i'm glad he died. He was a bad guy in Once Upon a Time so I just didn't like him.
Also also also, I'm glad Morgan is there. He's now filling the role of Ricks morality like hershal and dale did before. Rick unfortunately needs that.
Good season premire! I was excited, through and through.
I got Carol during the Story Sync.
I think we'll be in for a lot of surprises this season. It seemed like a majority of the stuff that was in the season 6 trailer happened in this first episode.
Attachment 65695
I think Maggie is pregnant and that's why Glen wouldn't let her go with them. Which, of course, means one of them is doomed. :(
Ooooooo I kinda had that thought but no one else was saying it so I thought maybe I was crazy.
Nope! I've been saying it since last season. I'll be crushed if either of them dies.
I felt crazy/old because I saw Ethan Embry (Carter) and thought "OMG, its the geeky guy from Empire Records and Can't Hardly Wait!"
Technically I believe Glenn has been dead in the comics for quite a while. So his direction is really up in the air who know what they'll do with him.
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKKKKK
nice season starter :3
lets be honest, rick is a dick
That episode blew. Started off strong but then became lackluster. I like the creative risks they're taking it but the constant back and forth in time did nothing to capture my interest. Felt like a filler and set-up episode so hopefully episode 2 will be better.
Also what's his name hasn't even been introduced yet so technically Glenn is still supposed to be alive though I think it is likely Nichalos will kill him because he gave him a second chance when he shouldn't have. I think it's ominous what occurred in the first episode with a Carter and "giving people second chances". Rick let the guy live which wasn't a dick move. He figured he'd die anyway because he isn't a survivor like Rick's group. He's used to the comfort of being behind the walls. He was ill-prepared to face what lurks beyond them.
Yeah, I'm with Shiny on this. I wasn't really impressed with the episode as a season starter. The constant jumping between time periods was messy and a little confusing. I also thought there would be more tension between Morgan and Rick after the way season 5 ended but no, they're already best buds.
Have the special effects always been that poor? Maybe it's because I was watching it in HD for the first time but the mass zombies and when they fell off the cliff looked truly awful.
Oh I think Morgan and Rick is going to be a slow burn. You could see seeds being sewn there.
I liked how Morgan already called Carol out for fakeness. It was an "oh snap, perceptive aren't you?"
I know Daryl is cool as smurf and everything, but surely you would take the occasional peek back when leading a thousand zombies down the road on a motorbike? Especially when your riding about 10 metres in front of them.
After seeing the Chupacabra, I imagine it takes a lot to phase Daryl anymore. ;)
And I agree about the Rick/Morgan relationship slowly going sour. Morgan will not tolerate Rick's trout the way everyone else does.
I think Morgan calling out Carol was the first time in a long time I've seen the character be visibly flustered.
Holy trout carol you're such a ruthless badass now. I was worried she was going to get shot while dressed up by her own people.
Also, THERE IS A HERD COMING OMG STOP KILLING EACH OTHER.
I really am not a fan of that stupid JSS girl.
Like, that was a nice visual spectacle and all but no main characters died - and it's not like it's a small cast to begin with. It didn't feel shocking or like there was much at stake. I know, I know, I'm dismissing people being stabbed to trout as being not shocking but there's no emotional weight - compare that to when Herschel or Beth went down after tense confrontations and that's what I'm talking about.
I think Carol is becoming a bit over-the-top now. Yes, she's come a long way since her housewife incarnation in series 1 but when was she trained as a ninja??
Also, those photos that Aaron found... I assume that means there is a spy in the ranks? I reckon it's Cait Sith.
No those are his photos! He left them in the car when him and darryl got ambushed by the trap and morgan save them.
Started looking at TWD about a year ago and finally up to date with everyone else on here. Really liking where it's at currently in Alexandria - It was a welcome break from the road.
Looking forward to further discussion.
Indeed, Carol is over the top, it just doesnt make sense.
im just really curious about what the guy had to say that morgan captured (before carol did a walk-by :l )
something about 'them getting liberated'.
i was also pretty scared that Carol would get shot because of her disguise
i must admit im not that fond of TWD anymore.
im not saying it has become a bad show.. im losing a bit of interest
Those first two episodes were the best I've seen since the first half of season 5, which I am very glad about since after the dross that was the second half (worst episodes since first half of season 4 imo) I had lost most hope for the show.
That said, while the episode themselves were great, I have serious concerns about where this show is going. Is it just me or do the Wolves seem like the most non-threatening villains so far? Seriously, after the maliciousness of The Governor in season 3, and the psychotic (yet brief) villains of Terminus, these guys seem like a bunch of feral ghouls!
Sure they killed a bunch of people, but they're barely armed and eventually had to retreat due to what...Carol and Morgan? If the main group had been there they wouldn't have even gotten over the wall. Pretty disappointing after the excellent teasing they did for them last season.
I think this show could do with a good old reset. At least half of the main cast should be killed off, there are just far too many pointless characters: Sasha, Gabriel, Abraham, Eugene, Rosita, and of course the most pointless one - Tara. These characters are going nowhere and just take up valuable screen time. Seriously the show is only 40 mins per episode, there are too many characters to go around. There also needs to be a focus, much like in season one. When Eugene was supposed to be some guy with the cure I was pumped! I thought the show was finally going to get a new drive and focus, alas no. If I have to hear another season of "We gotta survive" "Find somethin' worth livin' for" "We stick together to stay alive" I think I'll be done.
Rant over....although a logistical point if I may - How the hell did Morgan get back to Alexandria way before any of the group? Wasn't he standing right next to Rick when they all heard the horn go off?
Second episode was better because there were a lot of "oh snap" moments. A lot of Morgan being Donatello and Carol being that guy from a Resident Evil 4 that asks what you're buying. It was pretty great. Carol and Morgan's whole character building is great and I'm interested to see how Morgan went from being crazy to the zen semi-pacifist he is now.
But please for the love of God someone cut Carl's hair. He is looking more and more like Ellen DeGeneres circa 2002. I think this point the only way I'd be kept completely interested if they killed off Rick because I'm about tired of his trout but I would be shocked if he went off.
Carol's disguise as Suzy Homemaker is blown though, so I want to see how what's left of Alexandria reacts to her.
And I'm glad Jessie got to release that pent up rage.
The show would die with Rick being killed off, and I think I'd become disinterested. I agree that the show needs a new direction in some ways although, I liked Alexandria as a break to see these characters being normal again. We haven't seen that with most of them like Michonne.
The main problem is too much dilly-dallying with pointless story arch's. Same thing happened with Breaking Bad and I ended up not caring about it. There's some characters who I love which I don't mind hearing about their backstory, & I understand you need to stretch out the show to milk it, but c'mon. Focus more on the main plot please.
Agreed, I don't think they need to go in to every character's backstory because in reality when these people are inevitably killed the main characters know very little about them anyway as should the viewer. I'm much more interested in seeing Morgan's backstory as it's been quite some time since we last saw him and I feel his role is more integral. I would also really love to know all of Michonne's backstory which I feel was robbed by that corny flashback.
I just realized I haven't posted in this thread all season.
BUT NOW MY SOUL IS PROBABLY CRUSHED SO I MIGHT NEED YOUR SUPPORT.
THEN AGAIN I MIGHT BE TOTALLY OK AND NEED YOU TO CELEBRATE WITH ME LATER IN THE SEASON IDK YET.
WELL NOW I REGRET SAYING THIS :colbert:
Except I don't, fantastic smurfing episode. Absolutely tense and well-worked. Also I have to say I do like the new sociopath Rick. I never liked the bumbling boy scout trying to do the right think and yet constantly smurfing up and felt Shane was right. Ice smurfing cold letting rip with that assault rifle without a moment's pause. If you think back you can kind of see how every season he's been a little bit closer to where he is now.
I went to bed early last night cause i had a stomach bug. Let me tell you knowing something OMG happened but not to who, really ruined it for me. The whole time I was expecting a death and not just "oh this is tense"ing it.
I'm super sad though cause he was my favorite :(
The sound designer in me loved last night's episode. At the Nicholas part, when the outside sound deafened and then that music cue came in I had a sound gasm, but also "OH SOME trout IS ABOUT TO GO DOWN". It made the scene much more intense.
Let's hope I'm not right and it's just Nicholas' carcass being eaten over his body.
My reaction on this weeks episode
http://img.memecdn.com/no_o_743331.gif
i also keep a tiny bit of hope that they were shreading Nicolas´s body appart instead of Glen´s
so.. how will Rick get out of this? :o
No we dont :3
''Unmarked spoilers for aired eps in thread''
I think this was a pretty accurate reaction of mine to what happened:
Regarding the death, I'm actually genuinely surprised at how many people are saying they hope that Glenn is alive. While his death was sad, and I didn't want to see him go, I thought it added so much to the episode and show in general. It got back to that "anyone can go at anytime" kinda thing they had in the earlier seasons.
To have Glenn be alive after blatantly trying to show us he's dead would be a betrayal of the highest order in my opinion. Not only that, but there is no way in hell Glenn is getting out of there without 1 scratch or bite, even if they aren't his organs being spilled everywhere. It would be totally unbelievable and it'll really lower the show in my mind.
Excellent Rick stuff though, so eager to see how he gets out of this one (Help from Daryl I bet). While that scene in the RV when he was attacked was short, it was one of the best in the episode for me.
In conclusion = Glenn to stay dead, Rick to survive.
Calling it now: Glen to come back as a white walker.
I feel like I'm handling Glenn's death okay now. I wasn't ok when it happened.
However, I love Maggie and I will cry when she realizes what happens. And when she confirms that she's pregnant with Baby Glenn.
Also, while I wanted to know about how Morgan became a Jedi, I wasn't expecting to have an extended episode in middle of all this emotional stuff. AMC is stringing us along hard.
I really enjoyed the slowing down of this episode to calm everyone down from the last few hectic episodes. I really liked Eastman's character and i'm sad to see him go so quickly.
Poor Tabitha :(
The location they filmed at was beautiful though. I did enjoy that.
Glenn is as dead as Jon Snow.
i knew Tabitha would die ;_;
This is the worst show on television. Jesus smurfing christ.
The level of stupid that we're supposed to accept in order for this show to chug along is astonishing.
Really, guy. You're going to turn your back on a zombie and be like, nooo, morgan, instead of just killing the zombie? Really Michonne + extras, you're going to just stand there staring at other extra dude being like, "oh no, you're being brutally eaten alive" instead of putting him out of his misery??" Girl with the limp, you're seriously not going to just shoot yourself in the head rather than waste your bullets on the zombies when you're overrun? smurf these people are stupid.
Arrrghghghgh.
Also, there is no way Glenn is dead. If he is, they were unnecessarily careful about the framing of shot. But for reals, he SHOULD be dead cause the excuse they're going to use for him being alive is just crazy pants. Not that I want him to be dead. I love Glenn. But yeah. Totes not dead.
I hate this show. But I keep coming back to it, so I guess they're doing something right.
I think the lack of anything else like TWD on TV is what keeps us coming back even though it can be really, really stupid. If an real adaptation of the World War Z source material became a TV series (not that stupid movie) then I'd probably watch that instead. Until that happens there's no other 'post-apocalyptic survival' series out there for us nerds.
Did anyone catch the Into the Badlands trailer in the last episode? That show looks crazy. I can't believe they get away with that much human gore though I guess TWD set the bar by saying 'it's ok cause it's zombies'.
I'm looking forward to the into the badlands. Seems like lots of fun action and i'm all about that.
Good because Jon Snow isn't dead.
Also there is a show like Walking Dead on and it's called Z Nation but I don't watch that because I am not as invested in the characters and story. That's what keeps me watching. Zombies are cool too ig. Also it is a melting pot of a show with super hero type women and it makes me happy.
I think this will be my last episode of The Walking Dead. Not one where a beloved character dies, but one where absolutely nothing happens. I think the level of intelligence behind this show is summarized clearly by the fact that Daryl, a fan favorite, has been basically biking down a road this entire season. Lesbian Cop and I Don't Know What I'm Doing Doctor have gotten more screentime than he has. He does have a focal episode next week but this is Episode 5 already. Too little too late for me. There's just too many characters and not enough interesting ones and I hate when they split the cast up like this because it moves the plot a snail's pace.
RIP TWD
This is no excuse, but I think as people become more desired on the show their rates spike up. They have episodes where favorites like Carol, Daryl, and Michonne are barely even in the episode or not at all. I think the issue is less with budget though and more with the fact that they have currently too many characters to try to focus on. Luckily that will be handled soon inevitably.
In saying that, I don't understand why they needed to have a 90 minute episode for Morgan whose name I had to look up. I like the actor and the character is interesting, but I don't need 90 minutes of his backstory in one episode.
Totally missed that Michonne was absent from that episode too other than a conversation she had in the background with Maggie, whose name I actually couldn't remember at first since she's such a non entity. The best characters on this show have for a while been Daryl, Michonne, and Carol, and to go two episodes with none of them is unforgivable. Rick is not that interesting anymore and neither are any of the new people in Alexandria. There are about a dozen people who just need to be eaten the next time they are in screen.
I agree with a lot of what Del is saying, although I've always found Michonne to be bland as hell while the wacky antics of Rick and his descent into sociopathy will always entertain me. That said, I only started watching less than a year ago so I'm not as invested as most people, but yeah the past couple of episodes have just been mehhhhhhhhhh.
I was recently introduced to the idea of a genre of media called "competence porn". And it was one of those lightbulb moments for me. I smurfing LOVE competence porn! I love watching people do things and do it well. It's one of the reasons why I adore downtown abbey. Because I love watching them set the table all super neat and dress so immaculately. And also shows like West Wing or House of Cards (first season, obv). It's part of why I like watching artisan videos of people crafting things out of wood or writing calligraphy. I like it when people are just generally talented and good at what they're setting out to do.
And it's probably the reason why the Walking Dead enrages me so much. Because everyone is just so dumb. All the time. So so dumb.
I love the post apocalyptic genre. It's one of my favorites. And to watch people in this setting fail so spectacularly at surviving is just no fun for me. I know we're not supposed to care all that much because it's generally not the main cast who dies from the sheer stupidity, but what fun is it really to watch any of the red shirts die in really dumbass ways?
I would love a zombie show in the line of World War Z, where they actually develop smart, clever ways to live and deal with a zombie apocalypse. That would be fun.
well, i hope Alexandria will be done with after this seasons to make space forr something new and interesting
Apparently Negan has been cast. Interesting to see where the story goes with him added in next season.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/11/...e-walking-dead
whats wrong with this topic? its been half a week and no reaction at all.. while this time they really crawled back and got my attention again!!
i loved the episode.. but im pretty sure that the guy in the car, that cut of the dudes arm (and you didnt see his face) will be a governer nr.2
Oh i forgot to post.
I can't believe they stole his bike.
Also wth abraham you could have gotten bitten.
Also is he hitting on Sasha? Cause dude you have Rosita.
WHO WAS ON THE RADIO? It wasn't rick because he's back at the town and said to wait on abraham, sasha, and darryl.
I think that group in the woods is going to end up being The Saviors, and they have a system kinda like the hospital in Atlanta. Where you "owe" them from the minute you arrive.
AMC just seems to be out to win the Ultimate Troll Prize.

HE'S ALIVE! YAY!
So what is with the annoying teen guy. What is he going to shoot carl? Like ugh. I could do without that plotline.
OH SNAP the tower fell! They are about to get their trout wrecked. But Daryl, sasha, and abraham have that fuel truck. I bet they are going to set trout aflame.
Most people that have been alive for really long aren't that dumb, Miriel. Though it remains to be seen how Morgan has managed this long because he is pretty dumb at this point. Rick is actually becoming more interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes more of a villain role similar to what The Governor was. The issue with that is a lot of his more renegade type people probably will not have any of that. Michonne was already like "can you smurfing not".
I know everyone was saying "the guy fell on top of Glen" and "it wasn't him they were eating!" I never wanted Glen to die as he was one of my favourite character but... There is no way IN A MILLION SMURFING YEARS that he would still be alive even if the guy fell on top of him. They would both have been torn apart. I'd rather he just died and we had to deal with it.
The following sums up my feelings on the matter.
http://youtu.be/AVzX22lrWxA
Well smurf it while we're at it can Shane be alive again now please? Oh wait I guess Rick is Shane now. smurf it bring back Merle.
I was just having that conversation that Rick is basically shane now and he killed shane for being shane before.
Still fuming that Glen is still alive. Every scene I saw him in last night I was just like "you shouldn't be alive".
I really hate it when shows insult your intelligence like that. Expecting us to believe that utterly ridiculous escape. I'm too invested in the whole show to stop watching now but after last night... I'm ready for the whole series to end now.
Glenn being alive has literally ruined the show for me.
And on the Shane thing, Rick killed Shane because the guy snapped only a few months after the outbreak after nothing that bad had (comparatively) happened, he was probably right to do it. Rick has finally snapped after leading the group for so long through some utter hellish situations. His transformation has been fairly gradual and at least makes sense.
But like I said, the show has been ruined for me now with Glenn being alive so who cares.
I would argue that the initial outbreak is a worse thing to live through than anything subsequent.
I love when people can suspend disbelief for a zombie apocalypse but demand a more realistic escape scene. :)
If you're pissed that Glenn made it out then you should be equally pissed that the bullet ricochet in the tank in season 1 didn't off Rick.
Or that Andrea was just a good enough shot to hit Daryl in the ear in season 2. Or hell, that Daryl didn't die of sepsis in season 2 from his woodland injuries. Or that he didn't suffer permanent brain damage or go into a coma due to concussion.
You should probably hate the fact that Glenn didnt already die in the prison in season 3 due to being near an explosion.
Or that Carl survived a gut full of buckshot after having major abdominal sugery in someone's bedroom.
Or that Judith was left unattended and strapped to an cars eat during an walker infestation/war and miraculously escaped.
Or that the huge storm that felled all the trees and took out the walkers in season 5 while our team was huddled in a barn should have dropped a tree or five on the barn itself, given their size and proximity.
My point is that this show has made crazy escapes and near misses into a meme. But this is the one that's too much? That goes beyond the what the rational mind can take?
Accept this brief moment of happiness for these characters in an unforgiving world as as gift. I get anxious enough watching this on as regular basis; if it just became "The Road" with zombies I think most people would have 0 enjoyment.
I'm sorry FOA but none of those examples are a patch on Glen's escape. I'll admit that some of the group are mighty fortunate to be alive, particularly Carl getting shot in the belly. He should have been a goner, or maybe that's just wishful thinking.
This is completely different though. Countless times in this series, we've seen a zombie horde overcome a human biting any part of them that is exposed. This is a regular occurrence and spells certain death for anyone involved. You can't then show two people fall into a horde of zombies (a much larger number than usual too), have the zombies choose not to eat one of them, that person then crawls under a bin, which zombies can't crawl under themselves for some reason, then after a while the zombies all decide to go for an early night. If there was fresh meat available they wouldn't have been distracted by anything else. It goes against everything the show has demonstrated as zombie behaviour.
Of course you suspend disbelief when watching this kind of show. All of those examples are valid in that they were very lucky. It's only when the show breaks its own rules that it is an insult to your intelligence.
Bubba you jackass, zombies aren't real. Gandalf and Dumbledore should be able to fly down in their X-Wings and unleash a friendly horde of velociraptors to rescue the cast from zombies without you questioning it!
The problem with it is that it removes all tension and danger from a show which is about tension and danger. If Rick, Daryl and Glenn were surrounded by walkers closing in, who would care? Who'd think "Oh trout, they're all going to die?" Heck, they could walk through a horde buck naked and slapping every single walker in the face with their todgers and come out just fine. At the moment they're trying to paint a dire situation for Alexandria, surrounded by the undead. I don't believe it. Tension gone. Rick, just walk out the gates and stab them all. You'll be fine.
It also sucked because they very deliberately tried to make the audience think he was dead, what with the several week break before we heard from him and the grieving of Maggie. SURPRISE, HE'S NOT! Cheap shot. And smurf me the "We thought they were dead but guess what they're NOT!!!!" cliché has been done to death, especially in this show. Look at the first smurfing episode! So okay, cool, Glenn's not dead, yawn, what else have you got?
Well if goes like the comics Glenn will be dead by episode one or two of the next season. This finale was pretty balls. Should've been longer, the characters should've been less dumb espescially Tara and Rosita wtf?! And especially Sam. I applaud Jason Alexander for saying that he thought the characters acted dumbly in this right as Kirkman was sitting there because they really need to know their writing is atrocious. There can't be that many dumb people still alive and I have so many whys.
Why did we have an hour long episode of this and a 90 minute episode of Morgan? Why didn't they quiet Sam or better yet knock him the smurf out because he is a spazz? Why didn't they kill the wolf who only had a knife and they had two guns on him at close range? Why the smurf didn't Morgan just sit down and drink his goddamn tea and let Carol handle trout like she always does? Why did Rick put Deanna who is turning in a room with his baby? Why did he then leave her alone again after the fact? Why is the priest still alive? What is the point? Why does Carl think he can handle the situation of the porch dick's son who wants to kill him without involving the parents? Oh right, because he's Carl Papa.
Also a nod to the comics...he falls in love with some other chick because he didn't actually like Rosita that much.
And none of these things are that much of spoilers at this point especially since they change a lot from the show tithe comics. You're also not going to read 100+ issues and you know it so hush.
The thing that annoys me the most is that wventhough they were knee deep in walkers only one person was affected by the walkers. The walkers have become more of a backdrop than an actual threat and it's been that way for sometime now but definitely made very apparent in last night's episode. Human beings are more of a threat and I'm not really even sure the motivation for it apart from insanity because it doesn't seem like resources are The Road scarce.
More importantly why were they fighting anyway when there was a huge herd of zombies outside? And why wouldn't the baby cry being under a flesh suit?
exciting show but.. theres some bulltrout going on there.
that final scene where they dress up in zombie stuff....
cmon.... cmon... just.. dont.. cmon
what a bullcrap.
they would defnitly still smell them because they arent covered up 100% in that trout.
and if it so effective why dont they just use that all the time?
and that kid.. i truely believe his mother totaly forgot about him (atleast i did).
he opened the door and it was like 'ooh right, ur still there'
I hate that ladies kids. Like both of them. They are useless. I hope they get eaten
Agreed. The kid actors need to step up their game in this series. The best two were the girls who Carol was looking after. One kills the other then Carol offs the second. Way to plough through all the quality child actors, AMC.
Shiny's right too. Why the hell would Rick leave his child in the vicinity of someone who has been bitten? Monumentally stupid.
Quality child actors? The youngest little girl was literally the worse actor I've seen in a long time. The older one was pretty okay. The best actor on the show is still Rick (I don't remember his real name). Give that dude an Emmy already.
Andrew Lincoln.
Nee-gan? I always thought it was NAY-gan.
Really? I thought they were both excellent. Much better than the runts that are in it now.
It's still weird for me seeing Andrew Lincoln in this show. I still remember watching Teachers years ago!

so.. the show is about to start again tomorrow and the lack of interest seems disturbing.
i must honestly say i might give up on the show after this season...
i dont like rick
i dont like carl
i dont like Carol (her chance doesnt make sense.. she is over the top)
even Daryl starts to anoy me a bit.
Glenn anoys me with 'my wife this, my wife that'
yeah.. i dont know.. ooh well..
Oooooooooommmmmmmmmmgggggggggg
If you didn't think this was one of the best episodes ever then you can get right the smurf outta my face.
I like how that whole stupid family got wiped out for being stupid. Carl got shot.... Again.... And I worried for Glenn.... Again....
Oh how I've waited for this episode.
Attachment 67148
God damn Walking Dead. I'm still annoyed whenever I see Glen alive and honestly I was sooooo close to giving up on this damn show. There were too many story arcs with people in different places. That one episode has reminded me why I loved the show in the first place.
I'm so glad that the group are all one again and sooooo glad those annoying prick kids died. I'm sure now they'll be about six crap episodes before a great season finale but damn you Walking Dead... you keep me hanging on.
One of the best ever episodes.
So how about this was the first on screen child killing we've had? We've seen a half dozen or so dead kids, we've had three of "ours" die off screen, but this is the first time they actually went for it.
I'll be honest, it was actually harder for me to watch than adult deaths cause by walkers, and probably one of the most emotional reactions I've had to the show. It was hard to watch a kid get eaten, but even harder to watch a mother watch her kid get eaten.
I know there is worse to come, much worse by far, but after Rick's little soliloquy tobCarl at the end of the episode I can't help but feel a little hopeful.
I know, I know, I'm about to be crushed.
meh, you are all so enthousiastic about the show and im like ´meh´..
i cant even remember when and where daryl reunited with abraham and sasha or how they got the truck..
i really dislike this stupid ´mid season break´.. it gets me all confused
i was very glad to see the kid going, and i really disliked that they got Jessie to :(
the way Glenn got saved anoys me to bits.. they just sprayed bullets around and somehow for some reason Glenn gets out of it without a scratch.
Glenn has plot armor.. for now....
I mean how many times have they put him in harms way now? Like there was the governor thing and well dang, he's the one character who always gets in cruddy situations. They know we love him so they know they can get away with making us upset.
I really feel like the stuff with Glen is partly them toying with us before finally pulling the rug out from under us. Make people think he's untouchable then WHAM!
I came in here to tell you that was some crazy trout.
Coral! Coral almost died.
The last episode I watched was the one where Glenn 'died'. When I heard they brought him back I was all "screw this" and stopped watching. I had a bunch of free time to do nothing so I figured I'd bite the bullet and catch up.
Still pissed Glenn is alive but that last episode almost made up for it all, what a freaking episode.
Aside from that and the Morgan one though (glad he was somewhat vindicated in keeping that man alive too), I thought all the rest were awful. Here's hoping it doesn't drop off after that though.
Didn't really mind about the kid dying though, I'm pretty glad the whole family is gone tbh.
THAT JUST HAPPENED AND I AM SO HAPPY
I think if AMC breaks up this power couple they will feel the wrath of a real apocalypse.
I feel like I'm the only person who didn't see Richonne coming, but I like it. For me, it fits and works with the story.
https://49.media.tumblr.com/caca6679...qkipo1_400.gif
Even in the beginning, look at those looks!
I'm so happy for Richonne. I've been pinning for it for a few seasons. It's great to see a ship you like sail!
I kinda thought it was gonna happen a few times from their moments this season but then I told myself I was imagining things. Glad to see otherwise :D They both deserve it.
The whole thing with finding the truck and it going into the lake seemed pretty forced to me. The moment they found it, it just seemed so predictable that something like that would happen.
What a great episode! Obviously a completely different pacing but it's so great having the gang back together. I actually really enjoyed the new character, Houdini or whatever he's called.
Gonna call it now, Rick and Michonne won't last. I love that they've hooked up but something will happen to drive them apart. Hopefully not death though.
This was fitting for the mood.
Reading the synopsis of this show is so much more enjoyable than watching it.
Del just stop watching! If you don't enjoy it then just look up the spoilers after the episode.
I'm not mad about it but if it doesn't make you happy why do it?
Yes, stop watching you negative Nancy! :p
Maybe being grumpy about it makes him happy!
What the hell are you guys talking about? I stopped watching a while ago and I was just mentioning that reading the updates in this thread is so much more satisfying. Sorry, did I not put enough smilies on that for you? :p  :jokey:
I can't wait to read about how they handle Neagan because that arc in the comic has been my favorite so far. Not sure how they will handle all his cursing though.
Your smiley per word quota is acceptable.
Just a key change and look how lovely this show's intro sounds!
That sounds so good!
That is gonna be the theme song to my life when I hit my target goal weight.
That could be an FF airship theme.
I like how Rick is not phased by murdering one of their guys. What? http://i.imgur.com/GGnYfot.gif
Also Abraham's lines are amusing.
And Maggie playing hardball, nice.
Jesus is really living up to his name, he's being all peacekeepery
The "what" and the bisquick thing slayed me last night. I giggled a bunch.
Also would not mind if Gregory just bit the big one ASAP.
Jesus looks too clean and it sets me on edge. I mean, yeah, I know the whole point of it was last week's "Aha! He's a clean! Lookit dat beard!" exchange between Daryl and Rick but I just really don't like it and want to dump a vat of custard on his head.
I thought Maggie was great in that episode. Kinda glad as she hasn't really done much for ages.
Jesus is awesome! Not the religious one that rose from the dead. His pristine hair and beard just attract me to him more.
Attachment 67416
its been almost 3 weeks..
ive recorded the last 2 episodes but i cant give a single flying smurf to go watch them..
i fear i have officialy given up on this show.
i hereby say goodbye to TWD and this thread..
ill cya at Fear the Walking Dead :3
But the last two have been fun!
Shame we've lost you. New season of fear starts in April though!
The military-esqe takedown of that compound was really awesome to see. Sad that it has come to that but interesting to watch.
The sandman killings were kinda hard to watch, especially seeing Glenn's reaction. Still, pretty great action in this episode. I was half expecting them to drag out the rest of the season with preparations and build-up to the attack but I'm glad to have been mistaken on that.
