I cut my hair really short yesterday and now am enjoying the benefits; a simple life, where very little hair maintenance is needed, where sleeping at night causes no problem to the hair, no, in fact it looks better in the morning if anything, where a little V05 Texturising Gum is all I need to give it that 'rough and ready' look

Took P for lunch at the American Girl Place yesterday.
Holy Hell is that store big. 3 floors.
Anyway. Lunch was really yummy and not totally outrageous- 4 courses for $24/person .. The appetizer plate was kind of small, but I really love that it's a set menu with only a handful of choices of entrees ..
......... I wound up buying her the Kit doll, an extra outfit, and a book. -_-; Spent nearly $300 total. The doll & stuff was $155 & lunch ended up being $80 cuz I had a couple of beers and let P upgrade to a strawberry-watermelon lemonade slush. Then left $30 tip cuz I'm bro like that.
But, my kiddo is happy. So I'm happy. Now to figure out how the Hell ima pack the doll's big ass box since she wants to take it home with her doll.
I may just talk her into leaving it here and then I'll put some treats in it and ship it to her later.

I think they really like me at work. I get everything done quickly and properly and also have gone out of my way to do the big things they don't want to do without being asked. Like organizing and sorting an office that just had all of the furniture in the middle with junk all over and sorting and organizing the bookshelf and adding labels to the sections. The big boss lady doesn't seem to like me, but she doesn't like anybody, so I don't know. Also made another girls job easier by offering to be on call for about 2 weeks so she doesn't have to be.
But today I went in and finished all of my work withing about 30 minutes and they didn't have anything else for me to do so I get to be home early :jess:

Crop and I are supposed to go s'mac in Manhattan and then let my chirren play in Central Park while we drink Jack & Coke.
My girl just woke up crying cuz I wasn't in bed with her. The incredibly sweet thing. And we went to the Central Park Zoo and there was someone playing a saxophone under the bridge near the children's zoo - P asked if she could give him a tip. I gave her $3 to give him. She was so happy about that. And it made me mega proud.

Work wasn't horrible, Borderlands 2 with Jiro for way too long, nachos for dinner and just generally relaxing this evening. It's nice to not feel too stressed today (especially after yesterday).

Went to Empire State Building... Thank God P was free cuz tix were $35/pop . The ticket seller we got it from threw in a free cruise around the harbor or whatever for free, so it wasn't a total blowing of money.
Had dinner at Sbarro around the corner.. They had little individual wines! I haven't had Sbarro in AGES - they've changed -a lot-. Last time I went (in the now shut down mall in my 'hood & everywhere else), they did sandwiches and pizza. The one @ ESB just does pizza and a buffet ..
Anywho. Then we wandered down Avenue of the Americas to go to Central Park and got to see Radio City Music Hall.. And we took a horse drawn carriage ride through Central Park.
Holy smurf was that trout expensive. $60/15 min. Not including tip. But it was cool- seeing Central Park at night and stuff.
After like nearly 2 months of trial and failure, I finally cleanly landed my first hardflip today. For those of you that don't know, landing a skateboard trick for the first time is like the best orgasm you've ever had while on the best drug in the universe while a leprechaun gives you a rimjob.
Also, today is 37 days without a cigarette. Feels :grover: man.

That made me happy.

Found a good Korean BBQ place by my new job. It was pretty massive with lots to choose from. The only downside is a lot of the places around here are expensive.

I went all the way into work and then there was some strange girl who said she was doing my job on my ward and I was like why and she was like aren't you on holiday? Oops. I forgot that I had booked Friday and Monday off! Then I planned to go home but they said I couldn't, so I requested next Friday off to make up for it. This led to me being back home before my mum was up. For some reason she cleans the bathroom as soon as she wakes up every morning, even before breakfast, (I assume maybe because she hates it and doing it first thing means she doesn't have to do it again that day?) so when she got up, as she didn't know I was home, I wanted to sneak upstairs and make some really weird noise at her, not even really to scare her but more just so she's like 'what on earth is happening to me'
But I couldn't make it up the stairs from giggling, and in the end, I had to admit defeat and just sit back down because I can't do it :greenie:

Over the weekend I went biking through Central Park and we got all the way to 100th street. Then we saw 22 Jump Street which was okay, I laughed at a few parts. The best part was the rewarding froyo afterwards.

I had a dream that my s.o. was mean to me, but when I woke up and checked my phone I had a very nice message from him. I still told him he was mean to me in my dream though. :3
Also Friday was a long hard day, followed by a a less taxing but still long, hard day. So today, I treated myself to doing absolutely nothing but watching television, gorging on crabs, and lounging in my bed. It was glorious.

I've been off work for a few days with bad health and have been diagnosed th M.E (no, that's not the happy bit). I went back into school briefly this afternoon and all my babies came running up to me and hugged me and told me how much they had missed me and how they had made drawings and all sorts. Words can't explain how much I adore them!

I'm finally learning to be an adult and learning to utilize a structured budget vs. a loose budget. Should be pretty darn financially secure in about ten months and this makes me feel awesome and responsible :jess:
I think I've decided on my new gym membership which means I can get back in to the habit of running til I die and then lifting till I'm fit for a coma. I need to lose several kilos and redefine my muscles.
A video game told me I'm kind hearted so that was nice
The HD Remaster of X and X-2 arrived today, yay! Been playing that, while staying indoors to avoid the absolute horrendous heat.
There's a heatwave in the UK tomorrow apparently. 30 or so degrees! I think I'd die.

I have found an incredibly interesting uni course for September 2015 that I am already completely qualified to get into and have everything planned out. I can't wait.
There is supposed to be a gigantic storm hitting my area tonight. I've woke up this morning, and there's already thunder, this strange glowing orange light outside, it's raining, despite how bright it is the sky is almost black with cloud. It's so exciting! It's like we're underneath Death Mountain or something. Also I just realised, I had a dream about a storm. I was flying in an airplane with lots of people I know, but over the top of a storm. We could see all the clouds and lightning underneath, it was mental. We then began to descend and were struck by lightning, the plane went down really quickly but luckilly into my local seaside town and we were basically okay. Then my brother got off the plane with me and he kept meeting celebrities. Other weird things happened. I dream odd things!
My wig came and I've just been cutting it down to size, it's starting to look great and will serve as my hair for the immediate future until I get bored/the day my hair grows. Tonight I'm getting dressed up how I'd like and will have long hair and can take loads of pictures of myself etc etc. Alive-Girl's dramatic return to the EoFF picture thread!
I worked up the courage to send my very first job application to the gaming website I want to become a writer for. Now there's nothing left to do but wait.
It's Friday.
Only thing that could make it better is If it were Frieday. But NOOOOOOOOOO no one really freaking sells pot at my bf's school anymore. ugh. damn cops. Also his one connect doesn't go there anymore . -_-;
I've had a really good few days!
Tried a new restaurant, went for a nice walk around the park, had some fun relaxing and playing video games, made a nice dinner, have some more fun stuff planned for this weekend!
Getting a job interview.
It's been a crazy week of vacation, and today I have been successful and productive, catching up with everything I missed.

All this time off of work has done wonders for me. I'm much happier! It has improved my marriage (not that it was bad to start with, but it has gotten even better!) and I have been spending much more time with Peter, making more homecooked meals....I love it :)

One of my cousins came across a stash of 566 photos of our grandparents and scanned them to me. They're not super great quality, but I'm going to do the best to get them printed and arranged into some nice vintage frames. Seeing them makes me so happy.

Well it cheered me up anyway after a bit of a rubbish day yesterday.
we have a group chat system and when i am ending my day the US team are usually getting online and every morning they spam each other with cat gifs which gives an extra hop in my step as i leave the office

Didn't happen today but I thought about it and it made me happy.

A day late, but my new computer keyboard arrived. I'm pretty picky about keyboards. I've been meaning to get a new one for a long time (I was using a Packard Bell one from the 90s :lol:), but always hesitant to fork over the money for a really good one.
But I finally did. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Very easy to type with. And brown cherry MX switches sound like heaven to my ears. :love:
It also actually matches the rest of my computer now. Haha.
So on top of getting to visit my new house (which I haven't seen since mid June) and still absolutely LOVING IT, I also got to go play some tennis and book some concert tickets :jess:
Working today which isn't making me particularly happy. Really looking forward to this evening with MissH though. A few beers, some nice food, Man Utd v Real Madrid at 9pm then I was thinking about taking advantage of her.

WB has to be troutting their pants after this one. Marvel's taken one of their lower level franchises & made it into a phenomenal film. Sooo much in this film is connected to the rest of the MCU, even if it isn't direct, it's still there. DC/WB might want to consider hiring some of Marvel's casting directors, because they've nailed it again w/ this one. Guardians was so funny. It made my summer. Also found out that my boyfriend has gotten a job in NYC, so he can come back from Maryland hopefully and stay for the 3 months the job is.

Gravity Falls is a pretty entertaining show. And that made me happy.
Twelve hours of uninterrupted sleep makes me very happy.
So my best friend has been in America and then Hawaii for the last few weeks. This morning I was sat on the sofa,eating my breakfast when I get a knock on the door- it was her!!! Not only was it lovely to see her- she bought me this gorgeous Michael Kors little clutch bag! How amaZing is that!! We're going away to Spain together next week and I can't wait :-)

I bought my PS4 today! GAME sent me an offer via e-mail for The Last of Us Remastered bundle and I thought - why the hell not?
