Yeah, I haven't forgotten, I'm just busy and tired. Anyway.
Phoenix and Hollow Ichigo faced off inside a huge steel building. In the back a large, humanoid mech stood, deactivated and inert.
"The next battle is between Hollow Ichigo and Phoenix. Begin."
Hollow Ichigo, dressed in a white trenchcoat and holding a slim white sword, immediately vanished, appearing behind Phoenix in the next instant.
"GETSUGA TENSHOU!" he shrieked, a black shockwave of energy hurling from his sword and arcing towards Phoenix with blinding speed.
Phoenix raised her slender arm and a gout of intense flame sprang forth to block the attack. The flames crackled as they pushed against the shockwave, piercing through after a tense second of both attacks remaining stationary in the air.
Hollow Ichigo was already gone, however, moving around her faster than the eye could follow and launching several more shockwaves with each momentary halt in his movement.
The flames that encircled Phoenix began to expand outward, surrounding her body and pushing back against the force of Hollow Ichigo's attacks.
After five shockwaves hung in the air pushing against Phoenix, Hollow Ichigo seemed to blur as he shot forward, dashing into the flames. In the next instant, Phoenix gasped as his sword pierced her chest, sliding cleanly through and puncturing a lung.
"Weak! Too weak!" Hollow Ichigo screamed as he laughed maniacally, the force of his momentum propelling him into Phoenix and pushing both of them towards the ground.
Phoenix coughed, before spitting blood at Hollow Ichigo's face. His expression grew to rage, which soon changed to confusion as she smirked grimly and gripped his sword blade with her hand.
The flames around her which had been subsiding against the onslaught of Hollow Ichigo's shockwave attacks suddenly reignited, shattering Hollow Ichigo's attacks as if they were nothing. Flames shot from Phoenix's hand, traveling along the length of Hollow Ichigo's blade as he released it and vanished, appearing several meters back.
The flames followed him, wrapping around him as he attempted to flee the area. The more he tried to run, the greater they grew in intensity, surrounding him in a blazing vortex. As the flames closed in, Hollow Ichigo shrieked with rage and pain for several seconds before stopping abruptly.
Phoenix slowly floated to the ground, Hollow Ichigo's sword still impaled in her chest. As she fell, the sword began disintegrating into white flecks that quickly dissolved into nothingness.
"Phoenix is the winner," Light said.
The next battle will be between Ovan and Kefka. It will take place inside Ichigo's soul. The fight will be posted in half a week if I don't get swamped again. So really, it'll get posted later.
