Here's how I approached each of my four accounts, if anyone cares. I played them all slightly differently.
Laguna - I played this different than my usual approach (lay low for the first few days and then come on strong) since I got Doctor. My goal was to appear helpful so that the mafia would target me. It worked. Of course I didn't expect the stupid Bus Driver to take my protection away.
Quina - I made a very awful attempt to hint at Bomb (all that explosive diarrhea stuff) so that I wouldn't be killed. Really I should have played my usual strategy of laying low but I was anxious to get back into it. Playing BP while also being useful is hard.
Biggs - I came on strong as Biggs because my role had the ability to kill a mafia who tried to kill me. I tried to make it obvious who I was so that the mafia would be 'lol lets kill Del' again. I also made the very awful Vengeful claim in hopes of attracting a kill but that didn't work either and I ended up killing poor Refia instead. Then the mafia ganged up on me and lynched me (but they paid for it in the end). I think if I never claimed it would have been better, but with all the inactives there's not much you could do when 3 mafia pile votes on you.
Rikku - Gunsmith is probably the best role I could have landed at this point and Jiro gifted the Penelo reveal to me. At this point I figured the town was up against it so there was no reason to play it safe, so I went out and claimed straight away and went full on against anyone who had a gun result. I also played a little trickery to get Luneth and Faris to admit they had guns and that led to the town having the best chance it possibly had. I got my revenge for Biggs and also helped the town have a 50/50 shot at winning in the end. Pretty good redemption.
