There's something kind of interesting about they cutest/sexiest dynamic. In the years where the two haven't been split into separate awards, the nominees are usually just a combination of those who would have otherwise been nominated for one category or the other. Heck, even when both are running, the nominees are largely similar.

I think that says something about the fact that people have different tastes and interpretations of what is cute and what is sexy, and that both are just as equally valid.

Awards based on physical appearance can be kinda troutty though. I mean, even for awards in an internet forum popularity contest. I mean, nobody wants to feel as though they're being told they aren't attractive enough or whatever. That's a surefire way to turn everyone into Rainecloud that one time. I can't remember exactly but Agent Proto and I discussed it and I'm fairly certain that it was Rainecloud and something like Least Mature Member.

But everybody should remember that you're all beautiful in your own way. Don't feel bad if you're not nominated and don't feel bad if you don't win. Just post a lot in the picture threads and people will creepy hit on you, boosting that self confidence sky high.

So while not everybody can be as cute as I am, you're all still winners. Although it seems that since I hit 21 you have all decided I belong in the sexiest categories with the real men. I feel like this category is beyond my grasp but maybe if I take my shirt off enough you will love me more. (Also let me use this opportunity to express my disbelief considering I have not posted a goddamn photo in the picture thread since approximately last year.)

But here is a speech about being cute as a button and I hope the winner will take an adorable picture of pinched cheeks or something like awwww man so
