look all I'm saying is that Bergkamp was a one trick pony. Now don't get me wrong, it was a bloody good trick - bring the ball under ridiculous close control - but Suarez could do everything Bergkamp could do (see goals v Newcastle and Norwich last season for example) and actually run at a speed of greater than 3mph, be one of the best free kick takers in the world, dribble past numerous players at a time and didn't trout out of taking penalties. There's no shame in admitting his superiority. Now, if you wanted to do a Suarez v Le Tissier debate, that would be a tricky one. Le Tissier could do all that trout despite being as slow as Bergkamp.
Bergkamp was an exceptional footballer. Control level... -1 Cantona. That is the biggest compliment I can pay him. He scored some silky goals (the one against Newcastle was ridiculous) but I have to question his worth ethic. He had Berbatov-equivalent dedication.
I see your Bergkamp and I raise you... a Cantona.
Luis Suarez should be quarantined and has all the footballing ability of a one-legged Carlton Palmer.
Wasn't Bergkamp a keeper or something?
Yes, but I fail to see why we can't compare the two! Courtois has only scored 0 goals this season and therefore is an inferior player to Leroy Fer (4). Fact.
If Arsenal come out attacking tonight then this won't even go to a replay. I hate the way we're playing at the minute. Any team who put us under pressure and have good movement going forward, will win.
I'm not even putting a bet on tonight (I can't bet on us to lose) as I reckon Arsenal will get through by two clear goals.
As Arsenal and Man United are two of the most boring teams in the Premier League I'm guessing it's going to be an all out snoozefest.
Come to the dark side. The last time I backed us to lose was against United the other week.Quote:

Unlike the amazing "pass the ball" contest Liverpool is having in opponent team keeper areas. I agree they don't give overwhelming victories, but then again, very few teams give excellent performances.
I saw a Crystal Palace game the other day, against hmm.. Newcastle, I think. Now that was a match. Power, attacking, shots on goal. Great match.
Nah, Arsenal are the boring pass the ball team. Liverpool are the ones that run at 100mph at you.
Hah, I just watched the Liverpool vs Everton, and I think you may have shot 1 ball (not even counting if its at the goal) for every 10 minutes Liverpool spend in the last 25% of the field on Everton's half.
That was horrendous. I liked the one against Arsenal though.
...Nacho Man?
