It would be like Zombie Blood or something.... anyhow, I'm gonna give this question until tomorrow at this time (11:30 PM EST)
Here's the question again. What action can be performed on a dead character and still get the JP/Exp, without raising him? How is it done?
There, I reworded it better than my previous wording.
Hints: A certain status effect is needed, The dead person must be dead before and after the action.
-
Just a couple of wild guesses here, unfortunately, I don't have my game right now so I can't test these theories. Let me know if I'm close. ;)
1. Maybe a dead body with the Reflect status can still reflect spells directed at it? (really doubt this one though) So the spell bounces off and hits a nearby unit?
2. Or maybe you can 'Float' a dead body?
3. I'm also wondering if Damage Split would be triggered if you hit a dead character who has that reaction ability. In that case, the caster would take half of the intended damage and thus receive exp and jp.
Like I said these are unverifiable guesses for me right now. :rolleyes2

Dead guys do not have the reflect ability while dead, if you have reflect mail and you die, the reflect is not in effect until you get raised.
If you cast float on a dead person it won't float. I think if you are floating when you die, you can float dead (like Bombs dead bodies float). But again, no JP/Exp are gained here.
In order for damage split to work, you must actually hit and hurt someone. Since the person has already died, its liker attacking midair. no damage= no Exp/Jp.
Hint: Its sorta a glitch and it RARELY comes into play. I found it by accident, as any of you I assume would too, if you find it at all.
-
There's no way I'll be able to figure it out, I'm not familiar with all the glitches.
We'll have to try it when you tell us though, it sounds interesting.

Okay its 10 PM.. i know i said i'd give until 11:30 but whatever... heres how to do it.
get any lancer and make him/her invisible. Select an alive enemy and jump. While hes in mid air you have a few turns before he comes down hopefully. Within this timeframe KILL the targeted guy (while hes still on the targeted spot) eventually it will be the lancer's turn and come down on the dead guy. For some reason since he was invisible, the game focuses on removing the invisibility, and not whether the target was alive or not. The game awards him Exp/JP even though his/her target was dead.
new Question: I'll make it easy. What is the strongest hammer/mace/flail weapon and how can it be obtained?
-
Scorpion Tail isnt it? I never did use flails anyway Poach a Hyudra

meh I cant think of anything so heres a easy one. Throughout the game you fight several generic units that do not have specific names (miluda and such does not count) but have different pictures and are inviteable (except one) what are the battles and classes of these characters
-
Your definition of easy and mine are worlds apart. Give me a few days to replay the game and I'll get back to you.
-
I find this easy for three reasons 1: I have a very good memory 2: I probably play and beat this game at least 3 times a year more if no good games come out 3: I take note of odd things like this
-
is one of them a thief at Mandalia Plains with Algus? (havent played the game in like 3 years...)
-
I'm not fully sure of what you are getting at because MOST characters that don't have heavt plot relevance get their names generated randomly. The only one I can remember is Fencer. He's in the Dorter Slums. As far as I know the rest don't really have specific names.
I'm a duh-face.. i totally didn't read that right...LOL. Um people with specific face but NOT specific name? Um... none to my knowledge...like GTV I'm gonna have to replay to figure that out.
-
Is one of them the 'underpaid' thief in the dorter Trade City battle?
-
BG-57 is on the right track thats one. two more to go
-
can you just give me a frame of reference of when the other two appear from there???
