Zombies Ate My Neighbors, anyone? Also, I liked the Lufia series. Final Fantasy VI comes in a distant fourth. =/

For me, it would have to be Secret of Mana, closely followed by Mario Kart and Zelda. I can't really list FF6 or CT or SD3, since the bastards at Square decided Europe shouldn't get them.

heh i played that...it was a pile of steaming dog turd (though the creators did have a sense of humour i'll give them that)...it reminded me much of the "bart simpsons nightmare" game...which is by no means a good thing!

Snes was too wonderful. There's no way I can choose one.

Killer Instinct(ok so it basically sucked on consoles, but it reminds me of the arcade perfection, and that's good enough)
The Lord of the Rings(for that which could have been)
Mortal Kombat 2
Ogre Battle
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario Rpg
Super Mario All-Stars(so this is cheating b/c they're actually nes games but oh well)
Ultima: The False Prophet
Illusion of Gaia
Lagoon(more about nostalgia than anything)
Super Castlevania IV
FFII
FF:Mystic Quest


*Games I think could be defined as the actual best game on the system, while the others are the games that I particularly loved.

Rock n' Roll Racing is the best racing game ever made.

Reading about all of these great games is making me want to pull my SNES out and play them all...

FFVI or III or whatever...metroid...andddddddd..... CT...i never got into earthbound....

Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Gradius 3, Super Mario World, and Super Metroid are some of the best SNES games imo.
