Yoichi Wada should have interrupted Reggie at the end. That would have been hilarious.

Haha. Es'cuse me. We have present for you, too. Welcome to club
I'm definitely liking the WiiMotion+, and will probably buy WiiSports Resort just to try it out. I'll probably buy Animal Crossing, as well.
Hopefully, there will be more as E3 goes on, but I at least like some of what I saw today. There was more Wii stuff in other developer conferences as well, and The Conduit has been confirmed to at least be present at E3 this year with a playable demo. I hope someone finds it. >_>
Edit: Also, keep in mind that one of the bigger Nintendo titles, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, was not announced on the first day. It was announced on the second day. So maybe we'll see some big titles in the E3 days to come.
True, it is still a little early...
I'm kind of hoping there's backlash across the board, though; enough to make Nintendo wake up and realize what their core audience really wants. Something on the scale of Sony's '06 presentation. Too bad nothing meme-worthy has come out of it :(
I just wish they'd come out and say, hey, we're allowing for expandable storage through the USB ports using any hard drive you want (a la PS3)! And new channels for some of our games to make online better (SSBB plz)! And open support for bluetooth headsets! Centralized friends lists not based around FCs where you can actually add whatever random person you're playing with!
Any one of those would've been great, but instead it's just... hey Shaun White Snowboarding, awesome, just what everyone was waiting for.
Their first day was pretty lackluster. The biggest announcements, to me, were the peripherals, even though I will buy the games along with them, naturally. The WiiSpeak and the Motion+ are both things that I think are good choices for Nintendo.
I hope that Reggie was just joking with the hard-core comment with Animal Crossing. Me wants Zelda! D:<
What!? No exciting Final Fantasy XIII on Wii news?
Nintendo seems stale to me anymore, their consoles at least. I love my DS. Animal Crossing is nice to look forward to, it is like the only game Nintendo makes anymore that I like.
I've been pretty much done with Zelda since that whole Wind Waker clustersmurf. Twilight Princess was the nail in the coffin for my interest in new entries to the Zelda series.
As far as Nintendo stuff goes, I just really wanna see more DS visual novel types.
And...... disappointed.
Nintendo announced before that their suppose to be some special awesome game coming out. Anyway I'am so far dissapointed of what Nintendo is currently giving out. Though there is still a few days left of E3 hopefully by then we can get some juicy stuff. I've been playing Nintendo since I was 4 hopefully their is something going to come up.
The Conduit was SOMEWHERE in there, apparently, and it looks pretty nice.

You mean the game that was supposed to appeal to both hardcore and casual gamers? That's Animal Crossing.Quote:

Am I the only person whom the Wiimote really pisses off? I find it irritating and awkward. And now they make it "better" with an add-on?
Yay standard controllers.
HELL YEAH RHYTHM HEAVEN

I'm already buying the Japanese version that comes out at the end of the month, but I will absolutely get this when it comes in English.
