I don't think you're trying hard enough. Considering I just did it. (I'm going to change back to Tay when I get confirmation that you've seen this proof)

The image is both smaller than 60x60 and less than 10kB, so there should be no problems.

OK, I've seen it. Could you tell me how you did it?

go to his profile, then save picture as.

It's not that hard.

Then when you go to edit avatar, just use the option to upload from your computer.
