I feel less surprised because I'm farther in the series due to reading, but it was so exciting all the same!
Am I the only person who (SPOILER)absolutely hates Bill and finds him one-dimensional and wants Sookie x Eric forever?

i agree with you to, at the end of this ep i was seriously about to cry that i have to wait a whole week now, and i didnt shut my tv off in time and saw some stuff about next week, i hate knowing things it ruins it for me

Also, (SPOILER)I loved Sookie/Eric in the books, but the idea of Anna Paquin getting it on with the magnificent Alexander Skarsgård makes me skin crawl. I mean can you even imagine? Ugh.

This episode was too good. A little puzzled by how much it veers from the books, but it's for the best, I guess.

(SPOILER)The whole Dionysus is also called the "horned god" and equating it with the devil, WTF? The Horned God is a pagan figure, consort to the Mother Goddess. HE REPRESENTS MALE FERTILITY NOT THE ANTI-CHRIST. Seriously. I know it is in the South where Christianity is taken quite seriously, but I am still annoyed. :(
