I loved Blood + its probably one of my favorite animes ever. But I was surprised when I did some research halfway through the series and found out it was supposed to be a prequel to The Last Vampire. I hated that movie... To each their own. But I wouldn't suggest them togetherQuote:

edit: THAT IS if you even want to bother saying they're not set in alternate universes alltogether. marvel does this with comoics, they reimagine a whole story. i think that's what happened here.
