I love Hope. He is probably my new favorite Final Fantasy character! I love his unique weapon, over all look, and his eidolon is freaking awesome!! I've always been a big fan of magic users aswell, but throughout the series there is a lack of male magic users...imo. I think his story is touching, but he always sticks with Lightening, and I think they make a kick-butt duo haha. I also enjoy playing as him, because first access to all of the -aga spells is awesome! they all look amazing on screen!
Hope is definitely growing on me. It seems like he has the most development in the game. He was a very well-done character and that goes even further because with a kid like that it would have been really easy for him to just come off as an annoying brat.
The only thing putting me off Hope are his terrible clothes.
