You live in SD? I pictured you more as a New Jersey guy.

Arizona sucks. Don't go there. It's like 110 degrees there right now. The only time to go to Arizona is in the spring when it's like 80 and all the baseball teams are there.

You'll probably get more out of a trip to LA than to SF. LA has more stuff for a tourist to do, more theme parks, better night life, etc. SF is just a lot prettier and feels more like a city. LA is where the cool people go, SF is where the cool people live.
