The Post-Ciddies Summer 2013 Thread (VOTE ON THESE SPEECHES NERDS)

Okay so I'm finally caught up now... all I can say is: wow! :jess:

As I said to BoB earlier I was pretty much hoping for Best Thread Maker or Biggest FF Fangirl. I honestly thought I was nowhere near down with the "in" crowd, crazy, witty or... exuberant enough... for one of the more serious awards. So, then to win two serious awards and not win the ones I thought I actually stood a chance at... wow... wow... and more wow! Thanks to everyone who voted for me.

Congratulations to all the other winners. Locky on best member, going from best newbie to best member in a half a year - showing these old codgers how it is! Pete a well deserved best artist and Pike for sniping Best Thread Maker :hot:

The speeches were all fantastic too and I'll be sure to send some votes in once I've pondered over it some more!

I thought you were going to win Best Thread Maker, and was a bit surprised you didn't. Though you apparently never had a chance at Biggest FF Fangirl haha. You definitely deserved the Ciddies you did win.

I am pretty sure no one is ever going to beat lonny bob for Biggest FF Fangirl.

@Most Interesting Man meme: I, on the other hand, won only the Ciddie I was expecting to and no others. :monster: That's how it seems to go most Ciddies these days :monster:

Best Thread Maker is tricky because everyone will have different views on it. Some might opt for silly, some for serious, some for unique, some for few great ones and some for sheer volume of threads made. Personally, I opted for the person who made threads I was most likely to reply to.

:love: Despite us being who we are, it seems like we've always gotten along, no matter how much we disagreed. Considering you are the Ciddies host, the fact that you approved means a lot. Though I like to think that my greatest contribution, what I added to the Ciddies that the usual host(s) would not, was approving the MLT Get Together nomination of you and a corpse as a finalist.
