how do you get ark?
Go to Hades in memoria and synth 2 pumice pieces
...or fight Ozma, he drops a Pumice (the item you learn Ark from) as a prize.

Bahamut is amazing and strong in comparison to Ark. So he's...er... it's(?) my fave."
Ark can be powered up by collecting Lapis Lazuli. With 99 Lapis Lazuli Ark's attack power is 205, which is 18 points higher then Bahamut's max Attack Power.
The good thing about Bahamut though is his attack is non-elemental.

ark is the only good one but he doesnt even take 9999 on bosses
(at least in FF7,8,10, they had a summon which took more than 9999HP even on bosses
