I don't see any other alternative. No one likes violence and torture ( the crazy ones aside ) but what else could have been done? People say all the time how they think Bush should have handled it differently . . please, share with us what you would have done put in Bush's situation?

Edit - ( And to back up Undead, being a solider or not is irrelevant since it's not like they brainwash those in the armed forces. My father is in the Air Force and I would have gone in if I could have physically handled it. )

I dont agree with most people here.If everyone would agree with everyone then there would be no discussions happening and the world would be a very boring place.

So when he invaded Kuwait it was nothing? When he killed thousands of his own people and tortured many more it was nothing? He wouldn't let UN inspectors into his bases so he must have been hiding something right? No he was a nice man who was just missunderstood. Bull.

I wouldnt have started war and would have tried to negotiate at least a little more.I dont think proper effort was put in negotiating before the war.

Did you know that the United States has never placed a person in power that was NOT a dictator? The argument that we should be there to help the Iraqi people is invalid because we are just going to install another ruthless tyrant in Saddams place. You seem to have missed my point entirely. You've given many reasons why you dislike the government, yet you have failed UTTERLY in proving the statement you made for this thread, i.e. that the American government is the best in the world. As amusing as your ranting about how Bush is teh evil, the best you've come to even stating the very topic this thread is supposedly supposed to be about is some vague comments about things you don't like.
