I must say that it would be great if there is a FFX-3 on it's way, i think I read that it would be on Playstation 2 if it does come out. I think that it would be a great idea to maybe have a story that takes part way before FFX, like before Tidus ended up in spira, but it would also be nice to see what happens after FFX-2!
It's not going to happen. Plans for FFX-3 were officially abandoned a couple of years ago.
An interview I had read said that any plans about a story about Rikku was just a rumor that had come about during the early development stage of Final Fantasy X-2.
I doubt there will be an ffx-3 i didnt even see the point of ffx-2!
